Hey, I'm Launching my first Shopify Store and I have 18 Days to make 30$
so what I've done with my shop is
-All setup my account settings backend stuff accordingly
-I still have the normal myshopify.com domain (Planning on buying it out after I sale)
-Made a sick logo
-Customized My entire website (Theme, Color Codes, Made it a Simplisitc but Professional site) Fun Fact: this website gave me a boner.
-How it starts off top to bottom is Home, Merch, (Drop Down Menu), About Us, FAQ, Contact, and Login/Create Account. Then it shows a beautiful slideshow with niche related pics. Then under it shows 3 Featured Niche Collections and under the collections are 6 Featured products. Then goes on to the mailing list and the footer with Search, About us, ect. (Thinking about adding and growing Instagram account to increase organic traffic)
-I've added about maybe 15-20 products from ali not really sure atm
-Apps I have Oberlo, (Need Tips Not really sure how to use) Conversio, (Made a sick Email Sendout After Checkout) Crush.pics, (Image Compresser to get faster speeds to my site) and AfterShip (For Tracking numbers but I'm not sure if it's useful because the email feature is paid for).
-Thinking about making the site an overall site with my Niche which is all Revelant Content targeting Men, Woman, Teens, Kids, leaving out Grandparents lol)
-I have an excel sheet saying the Product Name, Aliexpress Product Site $, and My Products $, then the link to the Product until I can get it automated.
-Haven't Reserched Anything extensive into FB Ads Yet finishing my shop before I launch
My Questions
-I'm Confused about the Method of where you set the shipping rates where you set it to 0-0.9=$9.99, 1-1.9=$14.99, 2.0-2.9=$17.99, 3.0-3.9=$19.99 ect. My basic understanding is these shipping rates are to choose how much profit you make from each item for Shipping and a handling fees. Like here would be an example let's say if I sell a item for $4.99 and I set it to 0.9 weight it will cost $4.99+9.99? And for free items it would cost $0.00 but cost 9.99$ for shipping and handling.
-Not really sure if this is a problem but there's a method of where you Set the items to $0.00 but the shipping and handling costs $9.99 BUT what if they add something else in the cart like something that's 8.99$ the total would just be $8.99+$9.99 would that mean they get the item for free? Or is this apart of the method or am I just overthinking.
-Any FB Ads Helpful Info, Threads, Tips anything I'm really Determined
-Is the "Sign up to our mailing list *Subscribe Button" from the theme optimized automatically and where would I find the settings or section for my list in Shopify.
-Any tips with the Automated Oberlo and how it can help my shop. In fact any Free apps that would be worth installing would be helpful
I think I'm about ready to start researching fb ads and strategies for conversions and sales. I'll try to answer any questions from this experience. Also, I've might of left some obvious things out by accident can't really write an exact detail of what my site is and of course not revealing my niche. One more thing I have only 100$ Debit to invest. Constructive Feedback and Criticism welcomed I'm here to make money.
