LOL I'm sorry this came off as negative. The truth is that I was in the mood to write, but I didn't feel like working on some bullshit affiliate content at the moment.

I think I want to specialize in writing. I've always prided myself as a strong speaker and writer, and I want to find a way to make my living doing those things.

You’ll never make it

Is anyone else dealing with the curse of ‘you’ll never make it’? I think people have told me that my entire life.

I know all of the blocks between myself and success are internal.

I spend hours upon hours researching business ideas and getting excited. But when it comes time to execute, I self-sabotage and fall into inaction.

I understand it all stems from low self worth.

I have some passive income coming in, but it feels hollow to me. I feel like I don’t deserve it, like I got lucky and found some loophole to make money. Worst of all, I feel like I have been stagnating for months, doing no real productive work… and my income stream could dry up from one day to the next.

I feel like I’ve been told all my life “starting a business is too hard, you’ll never make it”. Especially when I sucked at everything else in life… school, sports, having a ‘normal’ adult job.

I've always deep down felt like a lazy piece of shit. Lots of people confirmed that too by telling me.

I have to make it though. I just won’t have it any other way. I’m not going back to being a slave. I’m not going back to that toxic fucking corporate culture.

How do I get myself unblocked? I need to somehow get unglued and start moving.

Watch VALUETAINMENT on YouTube. That's where all my problems got solved. Its really nice channel for entrepreneurs. Patrick Bet-David is best mentor you can have for learning about entrepreneurship

Thanks for the recommendation. I just watched the 'good voice, bad voice video', I can definitely relate. It's good to know these are common thoughts everyone deals with.

1) Find a better corporate culture. There are plenty out there.
2) Stop adding depressing threads to the Lounge.
3) Don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks.

It's incredible, the number of people doubting my skill and value diminished to nothing once the cashflow started rolling in my direction and my dreams became a working reality instead of an endless tunnel into more darkness.

But if you can't see the forest for the trees, you WILL never make it.

What's with all the depressing threads lately?

Sorry, that wasn't my intention.

I guess I'm just a touchy feely person. I've been trying to 'personal-development' myself for over 10 years now, because I know that the big breakthrough that I need to success is internal.

I need to feel like a success, before the mechanics will follow. Everything else is just minutia. All the details will fall into place if I get that handled.

Stop hanging out with negative people. Cheer yourself up when you achieve some success (e.g. first sale, first $100, monthly goal) and surround yourself with like-minded people. People are afraid of other people's success because it makes THEM feel bad. This is why almost no one wants you to be successful.

When I dropped out of school to do full time internet marketing, my relatives were forcing me to join the school as they believe school is everything in life. But I ignored them and started internet marketing. Now I am learning a lot about marketing concepts and web development. I am learning so much new things that I wouldn't learn in school. I am planning to start a digital marketing agency next year when I turn 19

Please tell me you at least finished high school, or your country's equivalent of high school?

I am making enough money.I currently live with my parents and I make enough money to buy a house after six months. Lands are cheap in india as compared to tier 1 countries. Even if someone has a job (Engineer/Graduate), he makes no more than $300-400 per month. I earn more than him

I have passed 12th grade. No graduation

You're too touchy feely, that's the problem. toughen up and those things will drive you to succeed rather than feed your failure. maybe start listening to some gangsta rap would help...

Even Patrick Bet-David encourages you to drop out of school. Today, school is more like a business. I think the quality of education is poor. You can learn much more from internet. And earn from it too!

You have adopted a never-give-up attitude so the odds are in your favour. Your words determine your path. Stop saying negative things because they program your mind. Every day:
- Start with gratitude. Thank God (or your mum, or nature, as you choose) for creating you and giving you opportunities. Thank people.
- Say things out loud that are positive. If you can't find any use someone else's. There are lots of them around.
- Give yourself small achievable short term goals and achieve them regularly.

Lots of negative people in the world. In fact, it seems that's all there is. So the first thing to do is not associate with them. Instead of making negative friends, make positive friends. If you want to have a business and be successful, associate with business people who are successful. Find a mentor. Join your local business association. Learn from them. Ditch those that say you'll never make it.

You do of course need to make a plan. You can't just go into business willy nilly and expect to make it. I'm reminded of a movie, long time ago so can't remember the title or anything else about it. But I do remember Walter Matthau's character saying to a character wanting to sell something (can't remember what) that he won't make it. Paraphrasing, he says something along the lines of those who make a living sell something that people need at least once a year. Those who are rich sell something people need every day. You want to sell something that nobody wants or needs.

So the first thing, is what you want to sell needed and wanted? If not, it's not a good business. If so, make a plan. Ask advice from other business people. Don't tell those you know will say it won't work because they don't know. They are being negative and contrary and will only depress you. I'll bet all those who have said that to you are in the same boat as you, have a menial job and are fairly miserable. You need to cut that cord.

Stop hanging around with naysayer or people who want you bad things. Why someone even listen or talk to someone who says such negative things? Get rid of this people. Don't listen to them, even when they are your family.

This shite should motivate you as hell. Imagine your father or your best friend tell you "You can't do that blablabla" and one year later you drive your new Mercedes-Benz in front of their house and tell them "only looking, no touching". You will penetrate their life.

Just a little advise: Surround yourself with positive people, people who are a motivation, people who already did something magnificent or who are about to do something.

And to finish with a quote of Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Stop being negative, stop being depressed - don't even waste your time and energy on this shit. Just be positive and START to do what you need to do to improve your life/bank account/whatever
