Sites that sell BTC

There are a bunch of sites where you can buy BTC at "hard money" rates.

I've kind of been kicking around them the past few days and am seeing a possible opportunity.

Guy sells BTC at .81 on the dollar accepting XYZ as the payment.

But, I'm a Crypto Noob so what pitfalls are there being the seller that are common aside from the obvious of carders etc.

@RuthSam - tagging you as I know you'll have some wisdom there.

As a BTC seller, the customer has to give you XYZ payment first, then you have a limited time (like 30 minutes) to make sure payment is good before buyer/customer gets his BTC released from escrow. You just have to be ready - "on call", and you have to be quick. Other then that it seem all organized from my perspective. As with everything, customer service and REPUTATION is key.

sorry @BassTrackerBoats I'm also new to all of this, I try to figure it all out myself, creating wallets and accounts with brokers like kraken and similar services.. So far I receive lots of bitcoins because of the sales I make and I found ways to get them quickly exchanged into cool cash, but not the other way around Let's hope this thread will get someone here that has some experience.

obviously if its a trade between person to person, you'll have to use a trading platform that offers escrow service like Localbitcoins.com. If you are selling, always accept payments that cannot be reversed (unless you trust the guy) so your choices are probably bank transfer (ACH or whatever), TT wire, cash or cashier order. Payment processors like PayPal and Paxum (not sure of what else) do not allow Bitcoin activities so do not get caught exchanging through them else you can kiss your account goodbye.

CC is easy with coinbase. Paypal is a pain due to being able reverse payments. If you sign up to coinbase using a friends affiliate link you can get a bonus deposit.
