Woocomerce is free to download, install, and set up. But time is money...so hiring someone to do it for you will cost. That's only if you're struggling to set it up yourself. Doing anything yourself is free! Good luck.
I understood.People normally opt for sites like shopify due to the simplicity behind it, the price may seem steep but if your building a business its peanuts really.... If your going to create your own site and use woocommerce just take 2 things into account:
1. It's going to require a lot of time and effort to get used to. Correct templates and setting everything up.
2. Is it a safe platform to deal with, it's free after all is there any exploitable parts so "certain" people can get free goods? Im pretty sure it's safe but it's best to check these things first.

Thank you!

Do you think it won't be safe enough? if it's not, then you think shopify would be a good solution? I mean, it feels a bit like another ebay/amazon platform to me
Thank you dami3n! I will think about opening a store of my own.
Meanwhile I'm trying to dropship on ebay, not doing so well.
