What registrar do you reccomend?

I've been loving name cheap lately. Free private reg on everything. Quick to update nameservers. Very happy and I've used them all.

As mentioned. AVOID 1&1 AT ALL COST.

Namecheap without a shadow of a doubt. The only reason I would use another registrar is for diversity, otherwise there is absolutely no reason to use s++tdaddy.
 
some members already mention this but namecheap and godaddy are my two top

and namesilo if you want to get cheap domain with free whois protection
 
Been with name.com for more than 15 years, never had any problems with them.
 
I prefer netearthone and internet.bs as they offer low prices. Godaddy is also better if they have $1 coupons for .com ;)

That's right, almost every guy here choosing Namecheap as the best, and mee too :). So the 3 best guys as I know is: Namecheap, Godaddy and Name/com.
 
Which ever has a deal and is not on my shitty list. By shitty I mean 1and1 types

Domain.com

and to avoid
1&1
i only used them once for their .99 domain to screw around with a site
and holy damn, took them TWO AND HALF EFFING DAYS to get the site live.
& the package was "Instant domain"
i even called them up and they had the nerve to tell me on the second day "this is very normal, just be patient, it may take up to 72 hours before you can use you domain"

So... my advice is, only use them to screw around with burn/churn sites with their dollar domain deals.

Agree, I usually use coupons to buy at Godaddy & Namecheap, they always offer a good deal to attract new customers. IMO
