Hey guys, found out about BHW in the summer of 2015.
After an initial 50 hours of work on multiple instagram accounts (account creation, picture-scraping, comments, etc.) I was able to get one account to 250k in... 4 months.
The best part is that it was the only account I was not boting on. All followers were 100% Organic, I had good and bad days. Early 2016 engagement was off the chart, 60k views, 10k likes per post.
Here's what I'm thinking at that time: "Damn. I made it in 4 months from 0 to 250k, organic, thank you BHW, now time to make some money say 20$/day?"
Comes the algorithm update: views down to 12k with 2k likes per post (with 320k followers).
I go from +1000 followers / day to +2000 followers / week.
Panic hits, I HAVE TO MONETIZE THIS. I start doing contests, a small blog etc. the CTR (click-through-rate) was at 6% but wait.. 6% of the people who were seeing my post, meaning 720 clicks? out of 320k followers.
Yes. Who would've guessed it. You have 0 influence if there's not a face behind your insta. If you are not posting original content forget it. YES you can sell ads to 40 y/o that don't get it but it will drive your engagement down (the little you have left).
So here it is guys, if you just found out about BHW / insta this might be the path you will follow.
If have one advice, a single one is turn off the internet and read a business book.
If I started reading on a daily basis before finding out about the forums, I would have not invested those 100+ hours of work. Why? because I now know that NONE of your income streams should be based on factors you have no control over (Instagram algo update, Google Search Engine ranking algo, Facebook Newsfeed algo).
