I do this with another peice of software. Works great but only if i could find a method to auto insert periods and commas!

I can't really see the point of using this method. Let's be honest, if we can convert this speech to text then so can the search engines. What will eventually happen is that the search engines will crawl the video sharing sites as they already do, and take the published date of the videos. The earliest date will then be regarded as the original source, whilst the later one (the text version) will be looked at as plagiarized. It's just my opinion but knowing what we all know about Google, things do get harder and if we really want to continue in IM and respect our sites then I would strongly reconsider this method and not use it. It may well work now but believe me, it's only a matter of time until we get caught out!

I was testing few tools to automatically add commas and periods and Ginger had the best success by far... still looking for better options.

it's not about laziness it's about impossibility to edit manual 50+ articles daily, alone.. when you have family

I'm with dazk2002 on this one. I would only use this for tier1s that I don't mind getting hammered by Panda. I mean, if we know something about Google is that it craves for new content. This particular content is already in their servers right now (in form of speech) and if they are not using it yet to answer queries is probably because their speech to text engine is not good enough. But as soon as they feel the quality is good (close to perfect?) I bet they start answering queries based on this "new" content. And then bum! Panda smacked your web2.0s...

That makes a bit more sense, but there won't be a perfect solution out there. There is no way software is going to take a 4 mile long run on sentence and format it nicely. You will likely have to review the articles anyway in the end.

true... I have 20+ money sites and all of them have hundred of web2.0 linking to them, for the web2.0 it will be perfect

Do you have any idea how much computer power it would take to watch every video, translate it to text and then compare to all the english content in the world?

And let's not forget that there are millions upon millions of videos in all kinds of languages, you really think that Google is going to spend millions on recourses to catch a view people doing this??

They don't even go after regulair dup content, just think about it in a logical and economical way the next time you bring a hypothesis to the table, what does Google (and their stockholders) has to gain???
