Hey guys!

So recently my channel has started to generate a lot more views with one video breaking 1 million which is awesome! In the Top 10 / compilation niche.
However two of my other videos with 180k and 280k views just got Manually claimed for Copyright content. It didn't specify which part of the videos is copyright though.

What is the way to solve this? I know with Content ID you can just edit out that part in Video Manager to get the Monetization back but doesn't seem to work for this.

Tried taking away EVERYTHING on the video except like 10 seconds where it was only me talking, still claimed! How can it still be claimed when it's just me talking?

Scared that this will happen to all of my popular videos sooner or later which would just suck.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Would joining a Network resolve this somehow where they can help me reach out to the Claimants and ask which part to take out?
Could I message the Claimants Network somehow and ask them which part is copyrighted so I can remove it?

The videos that have been claimed are satisfying videos with clips 5-15 seconds long. Thought about disputing with Fair Use claim but seems too risky. Don't want to recieve a copyright strike.
Any help is very much appreciated as kind of the future of my channel depends on it

Thank you very much,
Andreas

Actually, since the money was made with copyrighted content, I don't think they'll give you back the previous money you've made.
When you delete the copyrighted part, you just get to keep the money you make from that point forward.

If there was a way for me to delete the copyright part and keep the money I make after that I would be all ears! The thing is I can't seem to find a way to do that since removing that part doesn't get rid of the claim.

Just be careful before you dispute copyright claim. I had one video copyrighted and after I disputed copyright claim they manually checked every video I ever uploaded and claimed another 5 videos.
So if you don't have rights to use this clips just forget about this two videos and make a new one without copyrighted clips.

Yeah probably not going to dispute it as the risk for backfire is too high. I just feel it's so stupid they can manually claim it without saying which part! At least give us the option to remove it...

This big networks probably have a deal with YT so they don't strike your channel or take your video down, they just flag it and take the revenue from it but they don't have to tell you which part is copyrighted so you can't do anything about it. And they can claim your video without any proof that they really own it.

Yeah that's what I feels like unfortunately. Big companies being able to crap on you. Really hate the manually claim system, at least with content ID they have to tell you which part is copyrighted! How does all these top 10 channels survive this? Gotta get 90% of their videos claimed manually or does their network protect them from that somehow? Seen many similar channels to mine partnered with Fullscreen and bringing in big bucks with copyrighted content.

I had a manual copyright strike and I still recieved the money from adsense. I just had to wait a long time for it but after 4 months I recieved it. Getting partnered is no use either unless you get a managed partnership. Unfortunately only big channels get this option.

I didn't receive a copyright strike or a manual takedown on the videos just copyright claims. The videos are still up but I'm not getting any money from them.

Yeah joining a network wont help much unless you have strong links with them and someone can spare time to negotiate with the other channel.
Better focus on your new videos.
