PBN Or 301 Redirects ?

Anywhere between 10-25 depending on the site. Although I do stay away from high competition areas such as porn.

Unless you have a SUPER relevant and STRONG domain with 100-200 and much more RD, then yes. Otherwise, it's a PBN domain and don't even bother with 301 redirects, because in most cases, they will simply not work, even if you do everything correctly. Stop being impatient and expect more bang for the buck than you possibly can get and make a PBN out of those domains.

Don't know what you're doing but social media has done nothing for my rankings at all, except validating my backlinks, and i have been testing very rigorously but besides a bit of traffic social signals are useless according to my (and many others) results

To answer the question that has been asked many times here, a PBN is the best solution, not only (if you take good care of it) will your PBN increase in power, but you can rank multiple sites with one PBN, something you can't do with a 301, and having multiple domains 301 to one domain is a huge red flag.

Well it would be nice if 301 redirect could work, because the cheapest PBN is 20$ per year per pbn site (1$ for hosting and 1$ for domain per month). But it can be used for many sites ... doesn't make much sense for just 1/2 sites.

And i guess that buying PBN links only make sense if you want to use them as T1 links. Otherwise it is too risky.

Every one has its own strategy and own work process those who have large budget can easily manage PBN cost but those have not enough goes with Redirects,
do it your self first to analyze 1 redirect and 1 PBN result will be shown to you
But According to me best ratio is 30% Redirection and 70% PBN links works well as i am working

I have just bought a domain that's in my money site's niche with DA40+ and great backlinks incl. wiki and youtube. So according to the info on this forum, it would be a perfect candidate for 301 to give my money site a quick boost and some traffic from 100s of links. But what hasn't been discussed much here and the dilemma I'm facing is the fact that the backlinks point to specific info that was on that domain's 100s of pages, so if it now points to an e-commerce store's product pages, I expect many of the site owners will start killing off these links as they find them not valuable anymore. So over time it will reduce the link juice and the traffic from these sites.
On the other hand, I can rebuild the old site and possibly preserve many of the backlinks, but it will only transfer a small about of juice to the money site since I can't safely put to many links too it on the PBN site.
What are the thoughts on this?
