they make so much more sense on pinterest than on instagram. The problem: You don't want marketers in that group but people with an established and well targeted following ;-)
Think of it as a link-swap group. You'd want the same people in a pinterest engagement group as you would want to swap "do-follow" links with.

Ok but in case the group is not homogeneous, having your pin repinned and liked regardless by whom should increase its exposure in Pinterest search engine, right?

hm...it probably helps a bit...but probably not a lot! ;-)
Also depends on the niche and how specific it is. A very unspecific niche...like hm...homedecor or something...might actually benefit it, whereas best electric shaver for men won't.
the most important part is, however, you being the first to ever pin that url and the image quality of the pin. A crap pin won't get anyhwere - even with a lot of repins.
Most of your traffic will come from the smart feed and not through search ;-)
The best strategy you could have is getting big accounts (those with a million and more) to repin your properly seeded pins & optimized pins.

not that I know of - but I wasn't terribly interested in such a service. but sure..i guess there might be an influencer website that offers it
