Amazing thread @BigBuddy , this was like my inspiration to get into app games.
Things have changed a lot in the past year or so. Now re-skinning isn't as viable as it once used to be from what I hear from some friends who used to re-skin. Apple has really gotten strict with it's polices, but I think building original quality games is the future for games now. The biggest single trend I see now is that the fad of low quality apps/games with spammy methods is pretty much out the window, it's all about quality and retention now.
Your thread really had gold nuggets man, I hope you can provide more insights on what you think app/game devs should be focusing on presently to cash in the app opportunity

Great thread, but the fact is what was working few years ago is not working right now !
internal ASO is very important, take your time to do indepth keywords research, create a video promo , create 7 screenshots : name each one with one of you kewyord : Buy at least 10 translations ( do not use any free translation service).
and of course you need to get keyword installs + reviews with your keywords.
