Power likes?

I have been reading with attention the different threads concerning the way to optimize growth on IG. And it seems that "power likes" look like a great option for fast acquisition of followers. However I didn't really get the definition of this term, I have been searching in google, looking for ebooks and I found nada, nichts, nothing. I will grateful if one IG expert could further elaborate on the subject.

I think power likes mean buying likes from big IG accounts with tons of followers. Basically they like your post and you get more engagement on you posts.

Ok but what are the predictable positive effects? How do you define the account with "tons of followers"? Are comments considered as kind of "power likes" too?

I never bought power likes but generally accounts with large followers base and check their posts if they have good engagement then you can go for them. Positive effects depend on niche, your post, etc I am not sure about comments.

Ok, and do you know if the power of the like is somehow proportionnal to the number of follower from the like issuer, for example:

- a like from a 50k account is a small "power like"
- a like from a 500k account is a medium power like
- a like from a 5M account is a big power like

and have u heard about litterature on the subject?

accounts have around 6 powerlikes because them you can see in the page where your followers see what accounts are doing .... if you like more the will not appear there.

Looks like a paid campaign. A site that says they got to the top by buying likes from Likeattack.

In my experience, likes coming from a real human, that has other people liking and commenting back and forth will have more punch than a like coming from a regular bot with no interaction. That is why you'll see a post with less likes and more comments be on top of another post with hundreds or thousands of more likes.

This is fairly easy to spot, just go into your explore page, find any video and if it has 100k+ views, chances are it went viral because of "powerlikes" go look through their comments to their first 10 or so, and you can see big pages, 1m+ followers commenting on that certain post.
It's basically liking + commenting from a authority account and then there is a chance that certain post goes into explore page and seen by lots of people. and yes it does work, you can gain hundreds, even thousands of followers from just 1 post going viral

I've heard of mixed results with these. If you search around here you can find the threads.

Some guys bought powerlikes and nothing happened. Others saw some increase.

I have also heard that going viral or on the explore page doesnt always equal a huge amount of followers.
