verifying accounts with sims (device ID)

I need to verify a bunch of accounts and i just got my hands on a whole lot of free sims to verify the accounts with.

Now my question is do i need to change the device ID too? and if so how do i go about changing it?
does the phone need to be rooted and are is there any specific software or guide you recommend?

I have used the same phone for all my verifications with multiple sims and have had 0 issues. Some of my accounts proxies locations are across the country and still no issues.

I dont think you need to worry about anything, just make sure your phone is unlocked.

You can use basic mobile (not smart phone) for verifications with multiple SIM cards.
Or with smartphone use mobile data 4g/lte or public wifi.

I will suggest you change your device id if you are creating huge numbers of accounts to avoid footprints. For android phones google play have some apps that auto generate random id for your device. use queries like imei switcher, device id switcher etc

I won't be logging in on those phones only for receiving the verification code, so i dont think i have to worry about that. thanks though

it isnt a huge amount of accounts that need PV less than 100 and they already exist, also i wouldn't be logging in on them only for receiving the verification code.
