Hello,
Here's my situation,
I have a money page that is fully optimized for 5 KWs, and I am ranked pretty well for these KWs.
I found 5 other KWs that are very related to my service with high search volume, I'm thinking about doing 1 of the following thing, please advice what is better.

1) Stuff the new KWs with the main money page KWs and buy more HQ backlinks with them anchored in them

2) Create a new page, have it fully on-page optimized for the new 5 KWs, buy HQ backlinks to the new page, then use a 302 redirect and point to the main page

What do you guys think? 1 or 2?
if 2, is it safe?

I like the idea if it all in one but i also like the idea separate.

Never put all your eggs in one basket

This is prefrence quistion not really a solution

I guess I want to know what would be more efficient?
Is there any penalty risk for used the redirect method, as you are optimizing a page for the sake of the robots and sending people to another page?

I would say Option 1.

But based on my limited knowledge. I thought in the case of option 2: I thought using a redirect is if you were moving a page. Wouldn't that mean that search engines would stop crawling the page so you would have no way of possibly ranking the page? Effectively, you could do the same thing with a blank page and just redirect it to the money page. Same difference since no one or search engine would actually see the page being redirected off of.

Someone please correct me.

Yes I need someone to clarify this point, will the redirected page still have ranking or will it lose it's ranking with a 302 redirect?
If it doesn't then my plan works for number 2, if it does than i don't see the point really

I would put all the keywords in one page, so it becomes an authority page.

Do not change the page if it is already ranking where you want it to for 5 keywords. You chance losing your rank by diluting the page content and backlinks between the old and new keywords. Don't make a page and then 302 redirect it either. Won't work in the long run. Just make another page and tie it into flow of your website. Don't screw up the hard work you've already put into the first page. Or not...whatever.
