Sorry for being a bit old fashion, what do 'stolen photos' mean? And how do you make 'stolen photos' 'a bit controversial'. Sorry if I am not following your drift here.
And wouldn't 'stolen photos' which I assume you are meant to say 'photos without copyright', tear down your account?
I'm an IG idiot. If you need an expert, that ain't me. But here's what I do:
I find a photo on Google that is related to my niche. I then flip the image, resize it, add text to it, and put a filter on it. Voila! My new "stolen" image.
The photos usually aren't controversial. Sometimes they are a bit, but usually not. The text that I write may be controversial though.
Want an example? Let's say that my store sells refrigerators. Boring as shit right? Let's make it fun.
I find an image on Google of a melted tub of ice cream. I resize it, flip it, put a filter on it, and add the text "WTF!!!!!"
Under the image that I post I write a couple hundred words "post". I tell the story of poor Amy. Her mother used all of the family's saved money to play bingo instead of buying a nice and new refrigerator. Now the family is deep in bingo debt, the car got impounded, and worse yet: all of Amy's ice cream melted! What would you say to your mom if you were in Amy's shoes? Would you blame her for finding a new mom that didn't let her ice cream melt?
Or something like that. You get the point, right?
