I will fucking kill every domain sitter!!!

I had a client who owned an exact match dot com and had owned it since 2010. In 2014, someone copyrighted those same words, and then came after him for the domain name, claiming copyright infringement, even though he had owned the domain for four years prior. They submitted a removal request to Google, and they deindexed his site as a result. They also submitted a legal notice to his web host, and they promptly locked the domain for dispute.

The domain landscape is a wild wild west of legality and morality.

Man that's some shit. I've a fair share of brand able domains. Never really got anywhere with my sites but I always felt I got too good of names,,,

I spent the last 2 days trying to find a dotcom domain. Every single fucking 3 word fucked up domain name I came up with is available for sale $XXXX. I hate this part of IM. Why isn't this illegal yet. Those fuckers need to be destroyed!!

What are your thoughts on this?

How do you find brandable domain names?

I need to clam down...

lololol. I'm a domainer too (or was). I sold two domains for $xxx.

In a sense, I agree with you -- because in real life you can't TM a bunch of names you're not using just because you know they're profitable. There are other things you need to do to properly register a TM.

But online, you can reg a TM and have rights to it (domains) even when you're not really using it.

Here's why I disagree with you: everyone's always grabbing up the good stuff that's profitable? It's like human nature. What unclaimed profitable resource does anyone just leave out in the open -- yeah I thought so?

Just start your domain with FGoogleKeywordsGoHere.com

I remember when the "SEOs" were adding a "1" before keywords. Or I guess some are still doing that, probably in india or somewhere close by

The savage domain investment day passed, now 99% good domains owned by personal or bitch registra like Namescheap wait to sell to victims, think it as an industry.

Yeah that's a good point too. New TLDs that come out (like .web), they auto-self-register the good names.

You're not going to be able to register rent.web for $10 or $30, the registrar that made the TLD is going to make it premium and sell it for $100000000000000000000000.

Btw if you want to buy your THREE KEYWORD domain, just because its' listed for xxxx doesnt' mean they wont sell it to you for xxx. Cuz tbh, unless the keyword is TheGoodWord, then I wouldn't keep a 3-keyword domain if someone's offering me 500 uSD>

There are still ton of 3 word domains out there. You can also make nice sounding anagrams from words, portmanteau's and other various stuff. You could also use foreign words that look cool for a brand.

I just went on namecheap and checked 5 random real names(if someone was doing a personal blog site) and 4 of them were available.

While Häagen-Dazs sounds Danish it actually isn't even a real word. The creator of the brand was making up words until he found one he liked.

I actually don't understand how OP spent 2 whole days not finding an available domain that's 3 words long.

I found some really really nice three keyword domains.

I just realized if OP were to actually kill every domain sitter, he'd be a serial killer.

Hope he starts a journey.

Quick register them, so OP has even less to go for and more to bitch about.:D
