Xrumer vs. SEO Link Pro: real life differences and reviews please?

I've got SENuke and I love it. I played with Traffic Geyser and canceled it before the trial was up.

I want a serious link building tool. I have looked over the forum and these two seem to come up frequently: Xrumer and SEO Link Pro (SLP).

I am still new to this forum, and a noob as far as SEO software is concerned so please help me get pointed in the right direction.

I know there are other threads that discuss these things but not all these questions are answered on one thread, so I thought I'd try to join them all together so other noob's can get their questions answered too.

First:
What the hell's the difference?
Xrumer focuses more on forums and SLP focuses more on Web 2.0 properties?

Second: Actual Reviews?
I'd like to hear some real actual reviews / experiences (preferably from someone who has both so they can be compared) from the two pieces of software.

Rate the Software:
If you own or have used it, can you give a rating on a scale of 1 to 10?

Pros:
What is awesome about Xrumer and SEO Link Pro?

Cons:
What sucks about each of them?

Is it worth the Money?:
This software is some of the most expensive on the market, so is it worth it? And can BHW members get a discount?

xrumer is a way more aged and advanced piece of software. If you want a stable and actually working tool get xrumer (some learning curve though)

If you want your sites between viagra spam, get seolinkpro

Thanks for the reply. That helps. From what I am reading on BHW, the key to being a successful blackhatter is automation. How automated is Xrumer? Can you set it and forget it like SLP or is it more like SENuke where you run one project at a time?

Obviously, when a site is just beginning, you don't want to throw in a jillion links (well, I'd like to) or you'll get sandboxed, but once it has some age (any body have any good actual data on how old a site can be) you can really build some links to it. How many links a day can you build with Xrumer? (and not be banned)

Does XRumer take special hardware? or can you run it on any old Windows XP box?

xrumer will work on more or less any site, just train it, xrumer is worth every penny you pay for it, you can setup multiple projects and use the scheduler to get it to handle them on its own but really you can blast upwards of 1k links/min with it so normally you can just kick it in the guts, let it run for the run u wanted which will only take a couple hours for most low level runs and its done

i wouldnt run xrumer on anything less than a core2quad with 4gig of ram on 100mbit personally (it will use upto about 15mbit sustained on a good uplink) but i like to push it to the limits

Thanks for your insight. Sounds like xrumer really kicks some major ass. I like the scheduling aspect of it. But I think that SLP can also so that. Can anyone confirm? So does SLP just not have the hudspuh of Xrumer?

As far as my testing go, I don't think XRumer or SEOLinkPro links help much in SEO.

SENuke & Autopligg are the only softwares that did create nice results for me and my testing.

BUT there are other utilies for XRumer and SEOLinkPro which you could use but for me I needed organic help..

Autopligg gives you links from a lot of high PR (3+) websites with Anchors (a lot are redirect but there are nice ones)
Xrumer.. on high PR forums its heavy moderated so links dont stick
SLP is same thing as Xrumer.. nice pr targets are moderated others are heavy spammed

Just google autopligg you can find free 3.1 version someplace on the web, but pay attention , some are full of viruses

the idea of getting a modular program like SLP is brilliant but the question you will have to ask yourself is: How can I control where my links are getting spammed at. The plugins can not be edited since they are dll based. Every site that comes with SLP at the moment is getting OVER spammed.
PS: Make me plugins where I can input my own links and SLP will be complete.

wow talk about defeating the purpose, SLP was designed to be bh-seo for dummies, you select the platforms you want to spam, you select the keywords you want to target, and it searches.... and then spams them

SLP doesnt "come with sites" that are getting over spammed, unless of course your using the same keywords as someone else with SLP, their are definitly a crapload of bugs in their plugins, but once they get some age and get things fine tuned it should get better, but you technically do get to adjust things, by "which plugins for the projecT" and "which keywords"... but not the exact sites...

SLP's point was so that you could set it and forget it and run it every day and it does everything, if you ahve to find your own addresses to spam then u kind of dont need slp lol.

they dont all do the same thing,

-SLP does a variation of different sites and scripts that it spams (scuttle, referrer spamming, bookmark spamming etc)

I find the fact it doesnt autogenerate bookmark sites and auto book mark links is gay, and not very nice, but it has a lot of potential if they improve their plugin quality, reduce memory leaks, and release new plugins in the future.

-Xrumer spams FORUMS, this is its power its very powerful at it but its designed really for forum spamming, this is a short description but the fact is its f*cking awesome at it if you take the time to learn it, out of the 3 apps its the most challenging to learn and use properly.

-AutoPligg, does whatits name says, pligg thats it its nice, but personally found it useless... pligg sites are pretty low traffic so i find would only be really great for SEO, but they dont give SEO because 99.999999% are via out.php redirects or are extremely low pr.

No such thing as a Sandbox, just make sure you put some authority links into the mix. Oh and Xrumer is 10 times more powerful.

ok, seems people dont understand xrumers power and that you can use it in white/greyhat methods that wont get your site banned anytime soon, xrumer spams forums, blogs, guestbooks, wikis, pligg sites and can be trained to spam many many MANY more, ontop of that you can hook it to various captcha breaker services to handle breaking recaptcha's for you instead of losing those sites

subscribe to the rss feed on blackhatzen.com if you want to see some grey/white methods for using xrumer, i am doing some guest posts on there shortly related to this, really, nothing is worth its money in this area except xrumer, you will understand why soon enough
