[1000th POST SPECIAL] The Ultimate Shopify Guide to Making $100/Day! (PART 2)

I want to know that after creating a fanpage for the store, do we need to promote the Fan page? or "boost a particular post? If fan page, then first we need to wait for likes etc and then we start posting on fanpage about our store so that visitors can go to the store via fanpage?

I just tried "boosting my post" and used somewhat same ad which you posted in your 1st thread but FB disapproved it. Don't know why.
Plz help.

You want to promote your posts not the fan page.

Hey.

I've read the 2 threads and watch all videos and I want to thank you so much for all your work and help. It's really great :)

I'm just figuring out weights and shipping prices. I want to have those free items with 9.99 shipping cost but then I want to upsell and remove the shipping cost in all other products, what do you think about that?

Also if I put 0.1-0.9lb = free; 1-20lb = 9,99$

Then I chose 1.1lb on those free items (so it costs 9.99$) and 0.9lb or below in all other items (so it's free). Is this way gonna work?

Also, do you check "Charge taxes on this product" ?

Thanks a lot!

I live outside the US, is there any risk entering fake info into stripe to enable credit card payments?

Yes and No. Usually, it's fine but if there is any suspicious activity on your store they might ask for your id.

Is it okay to use my own FB account for advertising or should I make another account? i.e. how big is the chance of getting my account blocked?

It's perfectly fine to use your own account but Facebook can be unreliable at times so make sure to have backup accounts.

Damn op , first congrat's , awesome guide .
Are you paying taxes or you're doing this on the low?
Thanks and happy new year :)

Of course I pay my taxes but from my LLC. Happy new year!

Bro... your a beast with these guides. Definately going to implement the ig one for my shop!

Haha thanks man. All the best.

the course is not playing for me, maybe its because im using a chromebook is there a way to get around this?

You can use your phone to play the course. Just download the Udemy app.

It's me again.

I am having such a hard time trying to target my niche. I did watch the video and I did go to magazines but its so hard.
Am i doing it wrong? Am i missing something?

In Audiece insight lets say I type in Nifty. I get about 5-6m active users and that is too much. So I have to narrow it down, right?. The way I do this I by taking one of the top 10 categories for that niche. The problem I am having is this : sometimes when I click the top categories the page it redirects me to doesn't have anything in commun with my niche. Other times, the top category will be perfect for my niche but when I try to put it in the Interest form Facebook won't find it. It is so annoying.

You just have to do a little testing with audiences and yes sometimes you might not find targets right away.

Should be fine as long as you have your calculations all figured out. No, don't charge taxes. And anytime.

Recently the wireless charger is blowing up on facebook you litteraly see it everywhere. I am talking about the charger that you plug in your phone and then you can connect it to the actual charger with a magnet built in. Any idea how you would target these clients?

Not looking to start selling it. Just trying to understand with a example. Thanks

Yes a video about it ? I know that's what I would do. The problem is targeting the audience. How you find out who is interested in this product? I can't target android or apple that's way to broad.

How about targeting people that use the phone a lot

Businessman
Musiclovers
Pokemonplayers or other app gamers

To start with :)

Hey guys,

When posting / testing Facebook ads and you got bad results, how would you identify which one is going wrong between audience targeting and the ads itself (wording and image)?

Absolutely love the thread!
I actually bought a course worth $499 to learn all the information that @nihalsad is sharing here, for free too!
I made a new store last week after 2 previous failed attempts and I actually broke through this time. I'm using Facebook Ads and my Instagram knowledge to promote products. Here's my results so far -

Funnily, I've been most of what OP describes in this post. And I'm ashamed to say I've better results with organic traffic than paid traffic. Only $50 out of the $300 I've made came from Facebook with an Ad Spend of $150. While I'm just building my store-specific IG account using hashtags and getting sales. My first order came through IG and with a value of $127.

Keep it up @nihalsad , I wish you posted your guides before I started dropshipping lol.

You can target in different ways. For example you can target people who use a specific phone. ie iphone 7 then you can target gadget stores and so on.

You will have to test both.

Awesome work mate. Yeah I was going to post earlier but had quite a lot of projects on my hand. To anyone who reads after this post, this is a live example of taking action and banking.

How deeply can I outsource this on Fiverr and similar venues? Like hiring someone to make a good shopify, facebook, instagram pages? Logos? Or the ads themselves? I've some money to burn but I'm not versed in visual things.

I have a question,

I know you say that the passionate niches are the best, but is someone out there trying with commonly retailed products?
Because i found a niche with a big profit margin.

I'm going to start today!
This forum is really inspiring me! but by the moment improve myself have a lot of work, i think i'm reading information from 8 Am to the midnight.
And i don't reach a dollar yet! But soon i spect i can say i reach at least 10 per day!

Awesome result bro! Would you mind to share what's the payment method you're using in your store? I hope you're from India and want to know the options.
Thanks in advance.

Watch the tutorial video for the app.

Thank you so much for this mate! Can't believe you gave this out for free. I left you a 5 star review on Udemy to show appreciation.

I was wondering if you have any extra tips for t shirt selling?

Just giving back to the community. Actually I have a whole guide/course under development for tees. 2017 is the year you certainly want to get back into Teespring. I will explain why in my Teespring post. Keep an eye out for it. :)
