Search tool for blog comments with approved links

Hi guys

I want to search NYtimes (and similar big sites) for approved comments with link... to know which kind of comment that approved by moderators there.


Anyone know such tool ? the tool will search only comment section preferably

I read somewhere that a tool named Engagio can do this. The problem is I already contacted them twice using different email and none reply yet after waited for a week...

Not a bad idea. I could make a custom web crawler to do this and probably automate the comment leaving to.

If I understand properly, you are looking for a software which will crawl the whole domain and it's subpages and will search for the specific comment you are looking for , right ? If not, please explain in a bit more details.

I wouldn't mind releasing it as a free tool. I have done that quite a bit int he past. Finishing up a web crawler addition to Expired Article Hunter right now so I already have most of the code written. Once I get done with that I can code a comment crawler. Send me a list of good sites for it. If my understanding is correct it needs to find comments with other URLS in it to know that they are being approved?

I've looked into it and found nothing so far. Yeah if I find a bot that'll do this why not? Gonna try an idea on Scrapebox later but I don't have the time now.

Yes. I will be looking for specific comment with .com in it which means it has been approved by moderator

That's so nice. Probably big news site like NYtimes etc. I'll send it to you if it's ok.

With the comment with URL approved by big news website moderator that means it probably high quality comment... so the tool user can get example to learn and get the concept of how to leave hi quality comments

I'm not exactly sure but I think this can be done with Scrapebox. I'm not proficient enough with the software to tell you how to do it but I'm sure there are a lot of tutorials on the internet about it.

I see. maybe it's best to ask them at scrapebox section
