How do they know if I'm looking at their profile?

Occasionally I'll look at profiles of people and I've had then blocked for a year or so now and just today they blocked me back. Do they know I'm looking at their profiles? Why would they do this out of the blue...?

I don't think you know someone is looking at your profile. This is unless you are viewing their Insta-story in which case they can see a list of people who viewed their story.

The most likely thing is they are just as mentally unstable as you. When you unblocked them, the person was just on one of their couple of hundred daily routine checks. They realised you unblocked them to check them out, and got the upper hand ad blocked you.

However do not worry, just as they got chance to block you by constantly checking for the unblock, I am sure one day you will get the chance back. What a life.
