Expired Tumblr backlink: what am I doing wrong?

The description section is not in the Post body at all,you need to click on the ''edit theme'' which is usually at the top right hand side of your tumblr blog, then you will see where to Put the link, ensure you include http:// for it to work properly

one other clarification question: so what ever link you put in the blogs and/or pictures, will not do anything for SEO and giving you juice. The only benefit is from the link that you include in the description section as money flow explained?

also, to give the maximum amount of link juice to money site, the blogs in that tumblr account should not have any outbound links! (maybe one or two, to related authority sites)? correct assumption?

Hello, just like someone said above, it is highly debatable, due to the fact that the OBL within your posts and pictures have a meta refresh, some believed the juice as been killed totally, others believe it as been killed averagely. There is also a bit of controversy on the description link, some believe since it is a site wide Link, its juice is lower than those that are placed within the post, so its a very dicey situation, but this is what I do. After creating an expired tumblr, I add my link to the description, and then reblog about 5 other tumblr post on my tumblr dashboard, so within one of those post, I add my link again .Note: Same website, but at times a different anchor. I rarely waste my time spining articles or doing all sort of things some other people do, and it as been working perfectly for me

Yea, One or two OBL is okay, so as not to leave any footprint, you can randomly link to sites like wikipedia, ehow, etc, just ensure that they are not your competitors for the kw you wanna rank
