Is Adsense and similar ads still profitable

Hi guys, i hope i posted in the right section. Move if not. My question: Is adsense and similar programs still profitable? Many people use ad blocker and the forecast say that it will get more user
So there will be less people who click the ads.
What can you say about that?

There some killing it ,without all the bells and wessles just stright adsence and articles but there using youtube with adsence and in title there url to get the traffic ...
