Paypal remains limited after sending documents !

Hi all,

PayPal asked me to send valid documents for review (proof of name , address , bank statement).

After sending all these infos, a couple of days later, I received a message from paypal, your account has been limited and funds will be available for withdraw after 180 days.

What should I do now? Any advice would definitely help !

call them up and ask for a reason. are you dealing with dropshipping or something ? they usually put a lock for certain amount of days.

maybe u did something fishy with the account and they caught on you after a manual verification even tho you submitted the needed documents they decided your account should remain locked. like the memeber above suggested you should call them even tho i doubt it would be of much help

When Paypal ask for documents there can be only two possible reason.

1) One they need to verify your identity for official legal requirement
2) They are trying to bait you to submit the document so that they can build a blacklist on you so that you CAN NEVER use their service.

In your case, it is most likely the second point. Use a stealth paypal.

No, my friend just sent me some funds. This account never have sold anything.

I received funds from a friend. Never sold anything.

Looks like paypal rejected your documents. Now the only thing that you can do is to call the paypal.

If you have this email from paypal:
Your account has been limited for more than 45 days. It will continue to be limited but you now have the ability to withdraw funds.

If don't have then need wait 180 days.

Unfortunately Paypal do not have such feature availabe. Limitation means 180 days of fund held. Take note there are cases whereby after 180 days you cannot withdraw the money out as well.

no hes right ive gotten the ability to withdraw after 45 days.
