Excellent Results Using Well Aged Instagram Accounts

I have a ton of 4 year old instagram accounts that are collecting dust and I wanted to put them to some good use.

So this week I have been playing around with massplanner and a few accounts to test the water.

While doing this I noticed some great results and decided to share them with you.

I wanted to run these accounts in a manner that emulated a real user as much as possible, since proxies for instagram can become expensive if you want to churn and burn accounts with commenting and such. So I setup a few accounts to just upload 20 photos per day using 15 related hashtags.

To my complete surprise, I started seeing 50+ likes on each image and almost 200 new followers on the first day.

As the days pass, the engagement continues to grow alongside the followers and I have managed to replicate the success on all the other accounts I have setup.

The next step is to keep finding new niches and adding them to massplanner each day.

The only thing I can attribute this level of engagement to is the fact that the accounts have got a decent trust score from their age and are getting preferential treatment in the hashtag search results.

Its worth noting that the hashtags I am targeting have in most cases got millions of results showing for them, so for my images to be getting any impressions at all was a very welcome surprise.

Solid stuff here dude. IG has been a nice chunk of change for me this year. It's cool to see others making use of it as well.

Engagement is salient and (in my opinion) so is using aged accounts. Sometimes I create bulk sets of accounts just to let them age for future marketing campaigns.

There will always be the odd bot like/follow, I have gone through the majority of the people interacting with the accounts and they certainly are real people.

I think its more like the account and the proxies. Not the way of interacting with IG

I think people using MP and getting banned are the guys who are using cheap ips that have already been blacklisted or are using settings or methods that are too aggressive.

If you want to send out thousands of comments per day then you should invest in thousands of accounts and proxies and spread the load out.

Proxies can be expensive, especially when you are on limited funds. So its no surprise that some people might try and push their accounts too far when they dont get the results they expected, leading to ip bans and re-verification or complete account bans.

This is usually the reason, when starting IG game people are very enthusiastic and want to make $ right away. Sadly it's not 2014 anymore and you need to get your hands dirty before trying to run xx-xxx of accounts. I always tell beginners to take 1-5 accs at start and play with them, test different things and see what brings back the biggest ROI.

Another advantage of testing with small amount of accs is you can easily track what part of your method caused issues. When you get ban/phone checkpoint - track the last thing you've did with your account. This means that usually problems occur straight after your bad action. Add bad link/avatar/bio to IG - phone checkpoint. Upload same pictures to different accounts - ban etc.

MP is not a top choice bot for me personally, but I won't believe that it is leaving footprints unless 80%+ of people who use MP gets their all accounts banned.

Most IG accounts get good traction during the first weeks. I believe this is IG's way of getting users motivated to use the system. After the second week, whatever was working for you, is harder to do.

Now, if your posts are going viral, or you really got lucky finding those gold nugget hidden hashtags, that's another story. But female or shemale posts, are getting harder to monetize, and the little kids that follow those accounts, including trailer misfits, won't spend money or follow links on your bio.

Keep working at it, and testing. See if I'm wrong and you'll hit the ball out of the ballpark!

Instagram is a game of ups and downs. Some weeks will be better than others but its imperative to stick with it. I'm not telling you to take early success with a grain of salt but just be prepared for the roller coaster that is Instagram!

4 years ago I created these about 500k of these accounts and used them to sell real looking followers to people. Each account had 10+ image uploads, 100 followers and followed 150 or so people. They where active for a couple of months and then went onto my dormant accounts list once the follow ratio reached 0.5, thats where they have remained until this past month.

Im not using any "hidden gem" hashtags either. The majority of the hashtags have got over 1 million posts and some as many as 14 million posts. These kind of numbers mean a shit ton of competition for space in the search results at any 1 time.

I believe that because I put in so much effort when creating these accounts to make them look legit 4 years ago, they are no longer treated with suspicion by instagram.

They all are Phone verified accounts ? you hired some one to create these accounts 4 year ago or you have your own custom bot ?
