Yes good marketing on their part. I always thought these type of marketing is really effective. I thought of something similar about dating sites. Posting local dating messages in bathrooms around a city, especially bars and such.

Yeah i do this in the UK but didn't think of using candy canes i just pay some bloke to hire some cheap labour who post my leaflets. It brings some nice traffic if you target the right areas. Works very well in universities. Just need to find someone willing to hand that stuff out.
