Need hosting suggestion

I want to run some websites. not big(maybe).
Want to try Serp shaker plugin and do mass emailing.
I am using namecheap shared hosting now. I guess this is not suitable for this plugin or emailing.
I never used VPS.
So please suggest me something good and cheap.
EDIT: Please suggest me specific packages. I don't know much about hosting.

I recommend iFastNet because they provide a free domain name even with cheapest plan, they have PHP 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4 which you can choose in cPanel for your needs. Servers are very secure especially using the site lock which makes it impossible for hackers to exploit your scripts by fully locking all files uploaded so they can not be changed.

Mass emailing could be trouble with some hosts.
 
before you sign up with a host for vps you might want to check with them on mailing as well. Would hate for you to sign up and then get the account banned for sending mass mail.

Not personally but I know a couple of guys who do use them for sites, but nothing blackhat or PBNs.

They seems to me rather trustworthy, you can try them for a month and make your own conclusions
