I received this message on GWT and decided to try it out on my wordpress site. I read that this AMP thing is good for News type sites that publishes trending topics. However, My site is not a news type site and still tried this one out.

It has been 4 days since I implemented this on my site, getting linking traffic from http://cdn.ampproject.org/v/my_site/blah/blah/blah/post/ and since then I only see drop it traffic and increase in bounce rate probably just a dance or something that I am constantly getting even without AMP installed but I today I uninstalled it anyway.

Anyone using it on a non-news type sites? How it goes?

I used AMP on my business blog for a while, but it stopped working a couple of weeks ago (I don't really care to fix it).

Interestingly enough, when I used it, all of my posts saw a 10-20% increased bounce rate, and a lower time on page; the opposite of what everyone said would happen.

I should note that AMP is not a ranking factor, so your rankings shouldn't fluctuate at all. Mine certainly didn't.

I tried with AMP also and then bounce rate was increased :( hence, I removed it again.

Would love to see other guys results too.

Increase on bounce rate probably because of the styling of the AMP page. Since it's an auto-generated style from the AMP plugin. I wonder, how to edit it since there was no option.
