Twitter + IFTTT My 28 Day Summary

Just thought I would post this screenshot of my Twitter Analytics for the past 28 days.

As you can see I have gained some significant exposure, not to mention 727 new followers and counting, and a 72% increase in total impressions to over 2M isn't too shabby All I did was to use an IFTTT applet that would RT another Twitter users tweets.

I chose a user who has over 175,000 followers, and who tweets a lot every single day.

This is kind of a slow method to gain followers, but it's rather safe and steady. The nice thing is that these followers are actually engaged in the content, and they want to follow you.

Some of the more seasoned Twitter people here may not bat an eye at this, but am posting this for anyone who doesn't know - who may be looking for a way to build up their twitter accounts steadily, and free of cost.

I'm also using the same applet, retweeting from 5 twitter accounts. My stat is good, but not that great.

Great share! If you combine this with the follow/unfollow method you can get even more followers.

I use the same method but with tumblr and twitter. How many posts/day should i set up? I post 7 tweets , should i increase it ? I gain 1-2 follwers/day not many, i want to get more.

@MatteoMatt - Thanks for your response. Hey, as long as it works, slow is better with Twitter anyway. Less chance of suspension.

@voica - Yeah, I have thought about doing an occasional Unfollow sweep, just to remove users who have been inactive for 3 months or more. Not a bad idea.
I do some manual adding but very infrequently, like maybe a few people a month.

@dekadent30 - For nearly the whole 28 days I have not been tweeting much, if at all. Just letting IFTTT do all the work.

How ever many tweets come in is how many I get. Lol.

Originally I was tweeting from my own sites RSS feed, but my site is down now, I am setting up a secondary site, while I redesign my original one.

So this is a way to keep my Twitter account going while I get my other stuff fixed.

Well not really. My site had some ads on it and I used to direct my RSS to Twitter, but haven't made any spectacular income from it.

I am looking into monetizing my Twitter directly though, but I want to be careful about it too.

Just looking for the right stiff and a twist of my own.

i try it and i want to retweet from a big account. the tweets has text, pictures or gifs or videos

and when i retweet sometimes retweet the whole tweet and sometimes retweet only the text and not the gifs,videos etc
