Please Help! Why My Site Won't Rank?

Hi folks, I'd like to get straight to the point. Right now I'm almost frustrated to rank my website.
Here's my site's Data:

1. 1 years old of age(but I have just started building backlinks to it for the last 2+ months.)
2. DA 14 PA 28
3. TF 11 and CF 19
4. targeting a long tail keyword(6 words) on laptop niche.
5. The Content: 20 high-quality articles(written by native writer) with minimum 1000 words

My backlink strategy so far is just web 2 and blog post on high PR sites like behance.net and such. And I built links to them(tiering).

Most of the Web 2 backlinks are old and having PA 28+, with original articles(not spun). I haven't used any PBN since I think it's too risky.
My site's Total backlinks are 1k+ from 150+ domain

The thing is:
Most of the web2 and high PR blog posts have ranked higher than my site for the last 2 months!.

Some of them have ranked on page 1-3 and my site on page 4, sometimes on 5 or 6. I thought it was google dancing but It has been 2 months and the backlinks keep ranking higher than money site which is very weird .

It doesn't rank for the targeting keyword. The Keyword difficulty according to semrush is 70%. Did I choose the wrong keyword?

Any ideas or suggestions, bro?

Did you check wayback and see if your domain has been penalized before?

I have checked on wayback and the result is the domain has history since 2007 but there is no data saved before I bought it in 2015.
But before I bought it, I have checked the backlink profile and there was no spammy backlinks so I concluded it was a clean domain and It wasn't a penalised domain.

Do you mean is too much exact match anchor keywords?Well, I"m not sure. But I have tried to use anchor keyword as safe as possible.I have mostly used brand as anchor and naked url more than anchor keywords.
The thing is my competitors have less backlinks than mine but perhaps they have more quality backlinks than my site.

I would clean it all up, remove all optimizations. Remove the links, rework from zero paying attention to on-page stuff and see what happens.

Remove all backlinks? To be honest I'm planning to get backlinks from the big websites like engadget or huffington post..But I think it'll be useless if there's "something wrong" with my site

I'd advise you to look over your website and honestly see if this could in anyway whatsoever benefit people in some way. If there is indeed some benefit to the users themselves and the niche doesn't seem too competitive, I'd start with some natural back linking, guest blogging, and possibly trying your best to get it shared through social networks.

Think of it as an authority site and treat it as such, make sure you don't get any penalties or red flags raised. Going somewhat gray hat is OK, just don't over do it

No Penalties but maybe red flags. I have checked on MOZ ose and My domain has got spam score 5(low moz rank/trust score, large site few links and ratio followed to nofollowed subdomain). But it seems to be not really valid because my site is not a large site(it has only 20 posts), do-follow to nofollow percentage according to ahref is about 60%:40%

1k backlinks from 1k domains is much better than 1k backlinks from 300 domains.

How are you tiering your links? Are you using articles or just blog comments? Are you sure your tiered links are indexed in Google?

What's the monthly search for your keywords?

The tier backlinks are indexed and I have also used comment scrapebox but only for tier 2 and 3.
For the main keyword is 8k/month but like I said I have targeted a long tail keyword which only has about 70/month.

Build up some more links to your tier 1 to power them up. You can use other web 2.0s and 301 link shorteners.

And when building blog comments run them through Scrapebox Page Authority add-on and filter them by DA. There's no point building blog comments with domains that don't even have any link juice.

Do you have GSA Search Engine Ranker? That's what I use for my tiered link building.

Firstly, dont get new links if your existing domain isnt ranking at all. Secondly, you need to make changes to your domain as there must be something Google isnt liking. Keyword density and everything should be compared with those sites ranking on the first page and make appropriate adjustments.
