ITs a good OP advice to escalate your HT if you are getting tons of likes go ahead an use harder HT there is a chance that you can get on the TOP post on THAT HT but that doesnt mean you will be on EXPLORE, those are 2 different things.
People use HT on comments to avoid being seen as a spammer by the user (thing that is not proved also) i dont hear ppl complaining about HT... that its just a paranoic thinking of us the marketers using IG....
You can use HT on comment and on post it doesnt make a difference.

Mate you're judging this thread by some pictures you saw, please go to instagram and type any high HT, you'll hardly find what you say
Absolutely you can rank in HT, but chance is smaller, and usually users with few likes do not rank.

Totally wrong man.... you can rank in HT easier than getting on explore.

I talk by experience , i have business in instagram and i know for sure what im talking about, i have tried a lot of things.... i am ranking on a lot of HT and because of that im getting a lot of likes on mi pics...

I tell to you to PLEASE go to IG and look at top HT and see all the HT spamm in the TOP POST... i.e go an search for #fitness and stop talking crap, dont misslead the noobs.

Thanks for the info. So how are you guys doing your hash tag research? Do you only use Instagram to find top HT?
 
How can I see if I'm ranking for a certain hash tag?

mate I'm growing and selling accounts for 4 years, explore page I didn't mention it because it has another subject, in HT please go and see top posts and you will understand

lol that is what im telling you and anyone here can see the evidence, anyone can go and pick a HT and see the top results and it will realize that what you are saying Doesn't Matter... there are ppl getting on TOP using 30 HT, ppl on top using 6 ht, using 20, 25 with Different variations, very popular HT, very poor ones... what you are saying can't be proved.
 
I think is better to use full hashtags anyway, with less competitive ones yeah, but full hashtags.

Please try posting 2 pictures with my tips and without, I hope you get same results mate
 
Doesn't putting hashtags in comment instead of the main post cause a delay ? What I mean to say is that the more the time you take in posting the hashtags in the comment, the further down your post will be for that tag unless ofcourse you do it instantly. Wouldn't that cause a problem ? I currently use all 30 hashtags in my main post and I'll try this strategy over 6 posts done at different times to see how they compare and let all you guys know.
