Hey, a lot of noobies are growing instagram accounts, and there's a little mistake they do, they use maximum tags in each post and use very competitive tags in their posts (tags with 10m+ posts).
You have to use 10-15 tags each photo, and example if you get 200 likes each post, use tags with 200k posts, 500 likes then tags with 500k-1m posts

goodluck

Great tip, i am completely hopeless when i comes to instagram so any tips are more than welcome. Any more advice for us instagram hopeless cases?

i have FL doing it anyway and i did read it several times .....
why you should use a hashtag "if you get 200 likes each post, use tags with 200k posts," like you say. why not a 200 likes for a tag with 500k posts ????
thanks

I use 10-20 hashtags in comment section, not in post. Do you think it is better to post in comments?

Also, I can see my posts in explore tab on my office computer, not on my home laptop. Why is that?

I wanted to ask this question as well. I only put hashtags in the comment section, so I can delete them. What is your opinion? Will this theory also apply to this? Should I minimize the tags to 20 instead of 30 and also specialize them more?

Currently I use 30 hashtags with 1m posts etc. so the most wanted hashtags and I don't think they are effective, because I don't get any likes bc of the # :suspicious:'

I use hashtags in comment because it looks less spammy. You need to choose hashtags you have a chance to get to explore page. No use in using hashtags where you need 10k likes to get to explore page if your posts have 200-300 likes. So, do your research, find hashtags that you can "rank" for.

Ok there are some missleading information shared here....
If a HT has 10k people using it that DOESNT MEAN you need 10k likes to rank for that HT....
There is no difference between using 10-15 HT and using 30... i still see a lot of post ranking on explorer and top HT using 30 HT on post (not even on comment) so that theory is wrong.
ITs a good OP advice to escalate your HT if you are getting tons of likes go ahead an use harder HT there is a chance that you can get on the TOP post on THAT HT but that doesnt mean you will be on EXPLORE, those are 2 different things.
People use HT on comments to avoid being seen as a spammer by the user (thing that is not proved also) i dont hear ppl complaining about HT... that its just a paranoic thinking of us the marketers using IG....
You can use HT on comment and on post it doesnt make a difference.
