Article directories are dead?

Hello! I worked with SEO for Russian sites. Now i have to make SEO for English market. I just faced a problem. All lists of article submission directories that i met on the internet (i realy searched a lot) provide mostly dead directories. I realy found only 2 directories for all 2 months of my work (i search only for ******** sites). Is there any free/paid article subm. directories? Or this method doesnt work more?

I don't know where you searched. There are some prominent article directories exists till now. You can use those. There are also some paid services but I prefer free. As my account is new I can't postlinks and also can't PM you. I can provide you a list if you contact me.

There are lot of article directory submit site also available for paid and free.
