what about this new coin ETC? I am holder of ETH and wondering if ETC is just a bubble, or it something to be concerned about?

ethereum in general is a risky investment.

ETH is manipulated by the whales and ethereum foundation in a way that they pump the price when they see fit and want to make money and dump to cash out.
ETC is also manipulated but in an opposite way. a couple of weeks ago when its price was on the way to the moon the ethereum foundation started dumping large amounts of ETC on different exchanges to keep it down.
poloniex was one of the exchanges that caught them and froze their accounts.

By cash do you mean bank account? If you do any BTC exchange will do. Fees are very minimal.

Oh yes you would have to use localbitcoins or paxful and find people near you. Ice never done a cash trade but make sure to meet at a well-lit, public place like Starbucks or McDonalds

I'm completely new to bitcoin. I don't really have an idea of what is exactly, but I've heard a lot about how profitable it can be to trade bitcoin. Can you tell me if it's still profitable to start buying and selling bitcoin? Thanks

If you're completely new to it, I don't recommend attempting to trade it.
If you're not a seasoned equity, options, fx, etc trader, I don't recommend attempting to trade it.
If you're looking to buy it and hold onto it for a few years as an alternative investment using 5% or less of your net worth, I think that approach has merit.

I know the poster of this is banned now and was ridiculed ITT, but it is worth noting that when the world was distracted by the US elections, India banned 500 and 1000 rupee notes (worth $7.50 and $15 respectively) causing all sorts of turmoil (and even death) in India. There is a global move to a cashless society going on. Bankers want to control all money and institute negative interest rates on people's savings... it's institutionalized criminality if you ask me.

If you're the one selling the bitcoins, you can often charge more than market price to sell them for cash. I, like other posters, recommend localbitcoins.

I just have come into a lot of bitcoins.

I'd like to profit from selling them for a few % above the market value.

I'm thinking of selling BTC to people with PayPal, but I know all about the reversible shit lol.

Do you have any advice on how I can do this?

I basically want to sell BTC for like $30-$100 over the current price to people who only have paypal or some other money method that's hard to buy BTC with... without getting screwed over. I'm not sure what to do.
