Hello good people,

I just joined this forum, trying to retrace how I got over 2 million downloads for my android app and earned a fortune because I had no idea of app marketing at all. I am as befuddled as you are, because the next app I released I am getting 200 downloads a day whereas for my previous app I was getting around 10,000 downloads a day. So I have joined this forum to find a method to this madness and recreate successful results again and again.

Cheers

aha - welcome aboard!

lol ok, let me guess.. You'd be glad to personally coach us for a small fee.

On the contrary, I would pay you if you teach me to how to make my apps successful. I really have no clue. Previous app got featured and reviewed on a number of forums. So I was lucky you can say, but I always believe there is a method to madness and I am here to learn all of it and make another million bucks :)

Oh cool, what was your milliondollar app again?

So is it safe to ask what app you created or the Googleplay link?

I'll love to download your million dollar app. Whats the name?

Guys, you already know, I won't be giving off that information. I am pretty new to this forum, want no gimmicks, just here for learning and I would like to be discreet about it. Thanks for asking though :)

Replicate that.

I know you do not have the control over it getting featured but you can have it reviewed by dozens of people (even if you hire those people to post positive reviews) on targeted forums.

As an example, if you have an APP that can tell you where the flounder are biting using some kind of GPS and an API to the head of all flounders, you can hire people to hype and review it in fishing and boating forums.

Reviewers are easy to find and you'll probably want to write the reviews yourself (or hire a professional copy guy/gal) and forums for fishing and boating (or your niche) are easy to scrape (and that can be outsourced if you are not that guy) and you can build up a base of clients in that manner.

Instagram/Twitter shoutouts and tweets can do the same thing if you find the right people to use for that.

Facebook groups, although a little tougher than those, can be a very nice resource as well to get your APP out there and get people to DL it and share.

Email blasts from the forums can also be bought from some forum owners as well as advertising on the forums themselves using banner ads.

Just a couple of ideas from what worked for you in the past.

Lots of gold nuggets there, will save this somewhere. Thanks :)

do you have budget for this new app?

Money is not an issue, I want to learn the process from the person who does it on a regular basis. I am not looking for a one-time thing, I wanna build my app empire, so will go the full depth and learn nitty gritty of how the system works. Thanks!
