How can I make money as a Mturk requester?

Hi, I'm a complete noob here and I'm just wondering how can I make money as a Mturk requester? Would I be able to make at least $25 a day as one? That's my main goal so I can quit my dead end job and start moving up from there. I never had much luck making $25+ a day as a worker like some others out there seem to be able to do.

I checked it out and it doesn't look like there's much there that I would be able to do. The main skill I'm working on is programming but I'm still just starting out, that's why I'm hoping for some luck on Mturk

Sure. Also have a look at Fiverr. Lots of folks start there. To make $ 25 you need to sell a little more than 6 gigs a day.

I am confused. What do you means as a requester on MTurk? Those are the people that pay to put out the tasks. Are you asking how to make money as a worker? If so I know all about that but the requester side I know not much about.

Yes, I want to make money as the requester. Like lets say someone needs an article written then I could act as the middle man and pay someone on Mturk to write it and then sell it for profit to whoever need the article. I have no clue how to go about that but that's one thing I thought of. There's gotta be someway to do it

Okay I see what you mean! Yes I suppose that you could do that. I personally think MTurk is best for market research, surveys and batch work (data analysis that doesn't lend itself well to automation). I know of one company that does just what you are proposing.. I will have to see if I can find the link to it. Surprisingly I don't see an abundance of these tasks on MTurk and I am not sure why so it may be worth looking into further.

I complete tasks as a worker and make anywhere from $150-$300 a week... I basically do it to fund my IM ventures. My point is that there are eager workers on there... if you have a decent task, at fair pay and keep a good reputation people will do your tasks quickly.

I will try to find the link to that one guy I know of doing the reviews and let you know.

Okay the guy I was thinking of does mostly usability reviews but I think the structure of his process is basically what you are looking for. Check out Feedback Army and that should give you some clue on what this whole thing would entail.
The guy that owns/runs Feedback Army used to have a good reputation on MTurk but not as of recently - his pay has stayed the same, the requirements have increased and he seems to reject randomly. All the things you don't want to do as a requester.

As far as being a worker on MTurk, basic scripting is needed to pull decent money out. There are a few tools that I use available on greasyfork but the guys who are making $500+ per week are really good at scripting, scraping and whatnot.

I learned the basics of it all on Youtube on a channel called MTurk Guide - once I installed scripts and started auto accepting and applying the scripts my time on there became worth it on a per hour basis.

It took me about a month. At first you have to take what you can get as a newbie and build your numbers with as few rejections as possible. Once you reach 500, 1000, 1500 submitted and you have 99-100% approval rating the access to better tasks comes with it. Many people go in and just kind of hack around an ruin their account to the point where you can't recover it to a decent % approval rating. At the end of the day they are microtasks and the payment for each is the same but when you can a small task in a few seconds with a script and if you have time to do a whole bunch while watching tv or whatever the pay can add up.

This was my earnings for last week when I am in the middle of a move and I have 3 kids running around.. I just hop on here and there and do what is available from my preferred requester list.
Approvals and payments that occurred this week:
- Number of HITs approved: 828
- Number of HITs rejected: 0
- Bonus reward earned: $7.32
- HIT reward earned: $140.71
- Total Amount earned this week: $148.03

First of all, stop looking for something online that would allow you to quit your permanent job. There cant be a safer replacement to what you already have. However, you can simultaneously work online and look at different options. I would suggest you try out fiverr and other freelancing sites like upwork, freelancer etc.

Back before I built what I'm advertising in my signature, I'd run tests on mturk until they stopped allowing those kinds of campaigns. This was more at the idea validation stage when I was running tests.
