Yes. I have been deleted by tumblr when I was build tumblr pages in the long time. I was really disappointed
What is really strange with tumblr is its traffic. I was before on twitter for years and I was getting much more UV than on tumbler. Although the ratio from UV to leads is much better than on twitter, 300 UV to 1 lead (twitter 5000 UV to 1 lead), but the traffic does not convert. ( I run it two weeks and have hardly any follower of course but follow back is quite good - almost 50%. Any ideas from the Pros?

pretty pissed as i was interested in it in the beginning (i.e. years ago) but never did anything with it.
do people doubt it lasting as a platform? dont think another company could pick it up or they could resuscitate themselves?
i struggle to see how it failed compared to other social media platforms. why the phuck did they fail?

Never really understood how tumblr makes money. But nah, it ain't dead. Still quite popular if you associate it with "blogging".

I have a 5k tumblr acount,getting 2-3k notes a day,what do you think,how much traffic can I get daily from that? I don't have a site yet to test so,just curious
Yeah, I had the same bad experience about 2 years with them.
The bad thing is that you can't really know in clear what you can do and what you can not if you want to do any kind of marketing through your tumblr blogs.
Are you sure about this info that it's practically bankrupt?
Because if so, it does not worth to anyone to develop more complex blogs... if do not have already some...

i had a fairly succesful nsfw tumblr a year ago which wasn't banned but didn't convert either. I promoted clickbank offers, cpa, cam offers. Only the cam offers converted, i made approx 5 usd with 1000 click on the link. didn't worth the time. Now i was thinking about building a tumblr again to pull traffic to my fitness site, but meh...it won't convert again. So i'll try pinterest now.

Yeah, I think its in decline and not many use it anymore. Depends on what niche you are in though.
