I have a question about buying expired domains and their possible traffic.

Let say I have found 5 expired domains that may still be getting some traffic or searches. I want to buy all five and then use one of them as the primary and the other four to be redirected to the primary.

Should I create a website with the domain that seems to get the most traffic and then the others be redirected to the primary or chose one of the other four as a primary and have the #1 be redirected. I did not know of there is some strategy to buying expired domains and having them redirected to a primary domain.

Primary should be the one with tld that is most relevant to your niche

I think you should choose the domain that is related most to your business or your niches/keywords in order to build website on it. A domain should be .com or other gTLD better. It also has some characteristics such as short, memorable, brandable or EMD is also a good choice.

Good luck to you,

Thanks for the comments and advice. Now time to put the plan in action.
