photoshop alternative

just wondering if there are any good photoshop alternatives people would recommend ?
i do have photoshop but hate the UI

There is a free program called GIMP, not as good in my opinion but some people swear by it. Also there is Youzign, it's kind of expensive but comes with many templates designed for internet marketers. I can't post links yet but you can find them easily with an internet search.

Well you can try and use GIMP, it's open source and free but in my personal experience it's harder to use the interface. But than you might find out the PS UI not that bad anymore

Gimp is the best one, quite easy to use and interface can be customized. Large following and huge community with 1,000's of tutorial vids on YouTube.
So much can be done with it, even animations. Basically if it can be done with photoshop it can be done with Gimp.
You can also load and edit photoshop files

Why do you ask for alternatives? Photoshop is really easy to use, write me if you need any help...and btw Corel is for vector graphics not raster

GIMP has been my best friend in SEO and web development. I highly recommend GIMP.

I used Photoshop when I was in college but for what I do with digital imaging, I switched back to GIMP for the ease of use and it's open source so you can really have it do whatever you want.

I used GIMP in school but I'm working with Photoshop for 9 years and I can say that they're not even close, If you learn to combine the elements in Photoshop then you've learnt the software, all you've got left is to test other filters and effects.

As I've mentioned before, I'm using PS and I'm 100% satisfied for raster graphics.

My main job is graphic design but sometimes clients ask me for digital imaging too so I don't have problem working with both of them

There's a version of GIMP that has been modded to have all the same commands as Photoshop

Of course PS is the best IMO but GIMP does the job if all you do is simple image manipulations.
