Got any Questions on Bitcoin? I'll answer it here!

So i made a wallet on blockchain.info as you advised. I plan to use it to accept bitcoin payments on my site.

Am i going to need to be looking for a new best wallet every few months? How do i exchange my blockchain.info wallet balance for say paypal balance, payoneer balance, or withdraw to my bank account?
It's not neccessary but it's always good to have multiple wallets for security reasons.

As for transferring to USD you will have to find a Bitcoin exchange. Some reputable ones include bitfinix, circle, etc

Thanks man.

But still, why would anyone want to use BTC as a currency? It sounds kind of impractical.

If you're trying to keep a budget or plan financially, you can't go out and shop because you don't know how much money you have. While checking out it could be you had $20 in bitcoins, but since prices change you have $18.

It's a great investment, but not sure it's so good for spending money.
Think of it like you are a tourist from the US and visiting Europe. You only have USD, and you have to convert it to Euro at the current market price to spend it. Bitcoin is no different

As for why people use it, bitcoin can be anonymous for the buyer, and safe for the seller.

E: and I forgot to mention, no taxes

The fact that bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency - which means its not controlled or regulated by government or any banking system makes it attractive to lot of shoppers.

You can buy / sell items in a manner that doesnt require any of your personal information as most centralized systems do.

Some people like it that way.

And there is already plenty of merchants that implemented bitcoins as a payment method, which you can use in your everyday shopping.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/bitcoin-now-accepted-by-100000-merchants-worldwide-1486613

And this number is from last year only.

where do you see bitcoin in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years
That's hard to say as the internet is constantly changing. However I think bitcoin will stay for good, especially when the rich Chinese elite constantly invest in it

Hey Sir,
I have many questions regarding bitcoins. I think you will ne the best person to answer them all. please add me on skype-saurabhmessi

especially when the rich Chinese elite constantly invest in it

What a great prediction.Bitcoin is in china banned for over a year..........are you sleeping ? The government has it banned since bitcoin was used to by pass their cash flow control system.
You think any chinese is going to piss of his government ? :D

You think any chinese is going to piss of his government ? :D
And you think people in China follow the law? Chinese people who own a lot of "dirty" money is the reason why BTC was over $1000 For a period of time.

GoURL.io looks interesting, but how does it compare to bitpay (when working with woocommerce)?

Do you own a brain which you are able to use ?You are aware that china is a full communist country and that rich people are basicly rich because they are part of the system ?
Internet in china is 100% controlled. So you think any rich chinese which wealth depends on the mercy of the government is going to risk to buy bitcoins ?
Your naivity really impresses me.
I wrote the reason why bitcoin was high.It was used by the west to flood china with uncontrolled money.China allows only controlled money to its country and that was the reason why they banned it where bitcoin instantly dropped massivly.
You guys really impresses me.Knowing shit but acting like Don King

And btw

This is the dumbest question i ever heard. You think people in north korea follow the law ?
What do you think will happen in china a pur communist country to somebody who doesnt
follow the law expecially the most important law of the country so it wont be flooded with uncontrolled money like russia in the 90's

I don't think you know how to respect people do you? Whether BTC is good or not, write with respect and don't shoot your mouth scolding everyone dumb. You want to voice your view? Just voice it politely. Did anyone call you dumb on this forum? What is wrong with your manners?

Did anyone call you dumb on this forum? What is wrong with your manners?

You're so naive I can't even say anything

Maybe stop drinking the koolaid, get back on your schizo meds, and keep away from conspiracy theory blogs?

you conspiracy nuts are so awesome.

One of the most stupid comment i always read about bitcoin.

Meanwhile you come in and say "bitcoin will die in 3 years" without any reasoning whatsoever.
Question here is if he is blind or unable to understand which is by definiton dumb

I could take many of his nonsense like

The fact that bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency

or

E: and I forgot to mention, no taxes
and proof that this is total nonsense but it would be a waste of time since he would need first to learn the meaning of these words he is using

Yes guys. Please calm tf down.

China won't ban bitcoins for long, and whether or not people follow the law is whatever.

In some cities in China they can forcibly castrate you, but businesses don't get hit with medieval axes if they buy bitcoins...

On BTC, the assumption of moving money freely in China is flawed. If you are from China, you will know that there is underground money agent who could move your money out cheaply and fast.

If I want to move the money out, I can easily work with an export Company and purchase products from my offshore Company based in Hong Kong. Since offshore Company is tax free, I am literally moving money out of China easily using the existing banking system legally. To avoid legal trail, I could setup multiple trust Companies to own shares of this Hong Kong Company under different jurisdiction (aka a spider web) to make things even complicated for authorities. And then shut down all the Companies once I cash out. By the time authorities in China got winds of this and go through all the layer of protocol to check financial checks, it will take more than 10 years. I would then be already (assuming I am a runner for some rich guy who want to move money out of China) migrated to Canada or some other countries enjoying my whisky and retired.

For the layman in China, they just need to use their debit cards that are approved for oversea purchase and buy things from there. Example, payment to web developer. Funds are out of the country legally. Alternatively just use a money agent and funds are out of the country easily. If not, I can just purchase a rolex watch, wear it and cross over to Hong Kong and exchange for cash on the spot over at watch dealer in Hong Kong. Simple.

BTC in generally seems to be easier but the hidden cost behind can be staggering since there is no actual market market to determine fair value of the currency( crypto). Example, if I were to purchase $400 of BTCs, some sellers will charge a 20% fees. Look there is no coinbase in China and officially BTC is illegal thus seller will also push up the price to factor in their profits as well as the fluctuation of BTC which can be crazy at times. If I am from China, which option do you think I will choose?

Therefore the assumption that China demands alot of BTC can be flawed if the focus is to move money out easily since there are cheaper and better alternatives.

Next, taxes. Well, I would say that businesses in China WANTS TO PAY taxes. Are you aware that avoiding taxes can be death sentence in China? As their Government is clamping down on corruption therefore you cannot pay your way out of problems. Paying taxes is like protection money to the authorities, most if not all will be dying to pay this as they do not want to tagged with death sentence.

I am not saying that BTC will drop in value since the above assumption does not hold true.

The reason why BTC could still hold in value and even appreciates is primary due to the market maker behind it. If you notice most supplies of BTC is controlled by a few big players. Thus if they do not reduce their inventories, prices will not fall due to limited supplies of BTC in the market. This is a perfect Monopoly environment whereby the big players can control and influence the profitability by limiting the supplies. A good case reference is how crude oils prices are being played around the world. The same method and model is being applied to BTC. Occasionally these market players will slowly sell off their holdings whenever market demands pick up and pricing goes higher. These players operate like the oil cartel. Whereby they will determine how much supplies to liquidate on the market. And creates market panic incident so that they can buy back cheaply. Case reference, stock markets. I am not quoting forex market here as it is almost impossible to manipulate the forex market due to the trillions of dollars invovled and active government intervention and currency war between Countries.

Whether the Government bans BTC is not a big factor for these players since they are holding bulk of the BTCs. The greater fool theory applies here. As long as there are ready buyers to purchase BTC at a premium, they will make money. Needless to say, some of you will point out that BTC on its own does not deliver interest payment. I will say that this is a fact. However like Gold and crude oil, the majority of the supplies is controlled by a few players only. With the adoption of more users on BTC, the value of BTC would certainly go up but always be on the look out as the market maker would dump their supplies to create panic selling to buy back on the ccheap and liquidate for profits.

Some of you guys might argue, then how about other cryptocurrency? Why isn't there any market makers available on them? Well, some do have market maker like Etherium which explains why the coin appreciates in value. All those so call good unique factors of a new cryptocurrencies are just wall street style marketing gimmicks to get buyers. The primary fact is that there is market maker. Why BTC? Remember, the ultimate fact is that BTC is the first (second I think as the first was created by owner of Ripple which turns out to be a failure due to no market maker) cryptocurrency and widely used by underground illegal activities. It is still being used currently despite authorities clamping down in this aspect. A good example, why USD is the world currency. It has a big economy of demand, in fact the only consumption based economy in the world. The whole world lends to USA for them to buy their supplies. BTC is very similar to USD in the aspect that is not backed by any physical commodities of value. (USD dropped gold peg). However the primary users trust and believe in it thus the values appreciates.

In conclusion, if you are not into cryptocurrency, don't jump in blindly. Remember that you can get burn if you jump in at the wrong timing. A good guide is to purchase whenever there is a 20% drop in the highest price of BTC. Use a dollar cost averaging tactic. So purchase whenever there is a drop and sell whenever the market recovers by every 20% to lock down your profits.

Example, buy $400 (high was $500), sell at $480 (profit $80). Price appreciates further to $600 (sharks I miss the boat, DON"T feel this way) then drop to $480 (buy) then sell at $576. This method works greatly for market indices, currencies and BTC. In fact, products that are very liquid. Meaning there are market maker and demands of it.

I am sure some will claim that this technique don't work, but there is no need for me to debate nor argue as one fact that we all have to agree is that there is nothing wrong with taking profits.

Much apology that I side track abit on the above, the focus should be primary on BTC discussion.

What are the best ways one can invest in cryptocoin with the highest ROI in the shortest time with for example $100/1000 as an investment?
invest in altcoins

What do you think of Swiss coin, has it any chance ? What do you think of mining bitcoins? which is the best route cloud mining or buying the machine?
never ever even think about cloudmining

It's not as profitable compared to the past because it is less on the news now - which is what caused the drastic changes in prices. It is probably still profitable as a long-term investment.
take a look at a price chart sometime then give opinion
less than 4 months ago price was 380 and now it is 620

It's very very hard to fake a BTC transaction. Even with just 1 confirmation it's around 1% chance the transaction will fail.

After 6 confirmations its basically a done deal
i wouldn't put any percentage for the chance of transaction failing (aka orphan block or double spend)
you can refer to my post on bitcointalk about double spending and the number of confirmation here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1611794.msg16191384#msg16191384

How many people are there that could fake confirmations on the blockchain? How hard or how much $$ in equipment would that take?
so to answer your question, this doesn't really happen that often especially if there is 1 confirmation at least.

I based the one percent on the tradeblock.com "risk" factor

wtf are you talking about?!!

have you ever heard of OKCoin? https://www.okcoin.com/

it is the biggest bitcoin exchange in "CHINA" and also in the world and the fees are 0% there and it is located in "CHINA"
and just FYI the volume in OKCoin is usually $300,000,000-$600,000,000 each day.

so stop buying from individuals who are ripping you off!! and start buying from a legitimate place. and i have never heard about bitcoin being illegal in China either except for banks.

the rest of your post is also full of mistakes and misinformation about bitcoin which i am too tired tonight to point out line by line!

not a good reference for technical information about bitcoin.
as i said i wouldn't give it any number because it is different based on many factors.

Look, I did say officially and that covers business not individual mining or trading BTC. No legal business entities allow legal usage of BTC as no bank in China supports it. Read properly, if you cannot read, don't jump to conclusion.

what about this new coin ETC? I am holder of ETH and wondering if ETC is just a bubble, or it something to be concerned about?
