If you are willing to take the risk there are a number of things for you to do with this money. You could invest in buying traffic and then direct this traffic to affiliate offers. Once you get traffic to these offers and you have proven that they convert the next thing is to optimize the campaign so that you will make a profit. This is one way to do it. Buying traffic is able to give you the instant gratification that you seek but its not easy to make money. You have to be willing to put in the work.
If you are willing to put in the work you will be able to make more money then you will be able to even use, I can tell you that.
Another thing that you can do is simply buy a domain and start a blog on a topic of interest that has been proven to make money online. Create good content and work really hard to get that content out there. Once you start getting the content out there the next thing that you want to do is build your email list.
Building an email list is the first to truly building and online business that will last. Building the list is not the most important part of the process though. The most important part is nurturing a relationship with that list.
Be real with the people on your list and become a trusted advisor to them. If you are able to do this then you can literally sell them anything and they will be willing to take a look at the offer.

Buy niche sites, build with some investment of time and money, you can build a (mostly) automated and outsourced profit stream of $2K net per month in about 3 to 6 months

I'm not a huge fan of the same old make site get ranked suggestion.
Pick a niche, figure out what people in that niche wants, create or have a product created,get graphics and copy made. Signup for an auto responder and get a small follow up sequence made to start with.
Now put your product up for sale and reach out to other people in the niche.
You could also build your list first through fb advertising and other stuff so when you do launch a product you are off to a good start.
