Hey so this is my first time attempting seo.

I found a long tail keyword that NOOO one on page 1 is optimized for.

I got the exact domain match
Wrote a short paragraph on the page with the keyword in it.

-I put the keyword in the domain
-Page title
-Header
-in a short paragraph
-A picture with keyword in the alt and title text
And made a short video on youtube linking back to the site.

I bought some pr backlinks on fiverr
Some social signals
And high PR backlinks as well

Now i am a newbie and just wanted to know if i am on the right path ? Or am i just fucking up lol any advice would be awesome
Thanks in advance

your seo sucks ass. get better links.
also, dont over optimize

im only putting a little bit of content at first. cause i dont want to waste time on a page that wont rank

What's your keyword density? Also you might find those fiverr links do more harm than good. Are they contextual and on spam free domains?

To be honest. I dont even know what's my keyword density

Just don't use fiverr for backlinks pointing to your money website..

You are wasting your time with just a little bit of content actually.

Do some actual work and put up a 1500+ word article on your root url without beating it to death with your main KW. Use LSI KWs, long tails of ancillary KWs and stay the heck out of fiverr for your SEO; there are no "PR" backlinks anymore.

Trying to short cut this will teach you nothing as well as rank you nothing.

As people have mentioned

- get more content
- stop buying links on fiv site
- start buying more content or write it yourself
- start buying links in marketplace here or find links yourself
- link - get quality and not quantity. You'll see people selling links for $1.5 each and some $10 each. Read all the reviews to determine which is the best

Good luck

Your basic on page seems okay. But short content will not work. Try to give effort on content only if possible. Around 1500 words of content or more is my recommendation. If the keyword competition is low or mid level. Low search or not optimized page doesn't stand for low competition. You have to check the competition properly. Yes agree with all, stop buying links now. PR is dead so whatever you bought just wasted i believe. Take your time man. Do some study and focus on your landing page more. You said, you will not waste your time which page is not ranking. There is a difference between wasting time and spending time. So start spending your time on content, On page SEO, silo structure and all. Hope you will get some result.

All the best. (Sorry for my bad English)

As BassTrackerBoats mentioned, the first step is having a full length content on the homepage with 1000-2000 words. This is the first thing before you do any other optimization. If the keyword is seasonal, then optimizing it in old fashioned like in the domain, title, heading etc works well even now but if it's a standard keyword, you have to take care while doing that. Use GWT tools to find 10-20 long tail keywords & LSI and integrate them to article. You should of course use the main term too but not very often, better to keep it natural.

For the links, do not go to 5rr, most of them are junk and selling you crap. But thats what you pay for. There are some good too but you should have knowledge about it before you can make out. As you are doing it for the first time, there are high probability to pick something wrong. you can buy social media over there but do not go for someone who is doing mass stuff.. instead look out for one which offer less. You can make out from the title of the Gig if they are using bot and just avoid them.

Put a little bit more time and effort into it and you will go much farther. Good starting point though.

I agree with that other guy that you might as well have content upfront. Having content will help you rank (in general). Off-page SEO is harder when there is bad/no on-page SEO.

Once you do this more, you can just buy content from people for negligible prices. Even competent and fluent English-speaking writers are pretty cheap once you figure out where to find them.
