Hey

Someone has offered to settle a dispute with me financially. What is the best way to receive the money without getting scammed? I don't want to receive a reverse charge after I have held up my end of the bargin. I also want him to have as little of my personal details as possible.

Any help with how to proceed would be appreciated

Paypal is the best way to Pay someone for a service. Try Paypal and make sure they send it as a gift(sending it as a gift, i don`t think they would be able to chargeback), Once a gift was sent from my account to a different one and I wasnt able to un-do the gift sending!

You clearly have no clue about paypal. Family and Friends payments are super easy to chargeback. Just login to pay on a proxy and New cookies, pay, the claim it was an unauthorized transaction.

Also if you receive money as friends and family for something you sold your account can get some privileges taken away, as it is against PayPal TOS

I've got $50 sent as a gift once and a day later it was reserved because of unauthorized access to the senders account.
But yeah, usually f&f payments are pretty safe.

I would suggest bitcoin as well. Let us know how it works out for you.

if small money, use Bitcoin
if big money, use WU or Bank Trasfer

1. Bitcoin
2. Western Union
3. Moneygram

everything else can be chargeback.

1-bank wire transfer
2-bitcoin
3-western union or money gram
