Hello again my fellow brotherhood!

Freebird101 signing in from Sweden.

I'm here to write about my journey from almost zero to hopefully pretty decent/ok in a few years. My goals will be to do this full time. You can say it's my life's dream. I actually just dropped out of a pretty "high standard" engineering school to do this full time. All my friends and family think I'm totally stupid for doing this. "Don't throw away an education like this", "You have worked so hard to get in to the school". and so on. I'm actually also relatively old with my 28 years on this earth.

Basically i have just got to the conclusion that i can't live a normal 9-5 life. I just don't feel like everyone else.

So here it begins. I will take you through the ups and downs of being a FreeRider in the big wide cyberspace. I hope i will become a true blackhatworld member in the future, so i can teach the new kids on the block some tips and tricks!

edit: Gotta tell you i have no rich parents or any ANY savings. So this will not be an easy thing. But I actually feel "free" for the first time in my life.

I feel you brother, I also quit in the middle of an internship and I just can´t imagine myself working for others, and do a 9 to 5 routine everyday until I die.

I will start my own journey too, I´m sick of just reading and reading I must take action.
I will keep an eye on your journey to keep me motivated.

My first goal is to make some small bucks to keep myself floating. So i will try some basic noob-methods to get things started.

Ok, so here goes my first plans plans:

* Upload-stuff-on-porntubes-Method (can't ad links yet), with my own little twist.
Got a website and Crakrevenue affiliate links. Currently got 5 vids up on xvideos with 0 views. Not sure yet how i will start getting views. I guess i will just keep on uploading.

*Youtube-uploads, with focus on over saturated, but with large audience, kind of stuff.
Got 2 accounts up. Signed yesterday. 2 Videos each and 0 views. Same deal here. I guess YT takes some time. I will keep it up.

*Domainselling.
Got 50 or so pretty decent domains parked, up for sale. I've done all settings for promotion the last week or so. Time will tell if i get them sold. I'm still keeping my eyes up for good names if i come up with it.

*Building up 2 fake FB accounts for future promo

*Niched blog, focused on revshare links.
Haven't started this yet. Still pondering on exactly what niche i will focus on.

*Some kind of niched tube site (not necessarily adult).
Still working out what webhosting service i need for this. And also what the rules are for copyrights ect.

*plus many (way too many) ideas/projects coming up.


Right now I'm looking for the best webhoster for my plans. And ofc reading here on this forum!

I remember when I was 18, I had the opportunity to go to college, but didn't want to because I had no idea what I wanted to do. An older friend of mine put it to me like this; "If you go to college, and then still don't know what you want to do—then at least you'll have a degree to fall back onto."

I took his advice, spend 5+ years switching from major to major, and finally graduated—still unsure of what I wanted to do.

Got a 9-5—hate it—and have been actively developing an understanding of IM and related skills to escape it. Trouble is, IM takes time to see results. The results are great, and long-lasting in many cases, but still take time. You aren't going to pay for dinner anytime soon (most-likely) and if you don't have anything to fall back on, you should probably get a part-time job to help finance yourself in the beginning.

Another really great option (assuming you could un-dropout) would be to pursue a degree in Computer Science, or related programming study. Having an industrial strength knowledge of programming would probably be an incredibly powerful aspect asset in the world of marketing. I started learning Python ( a really beginner-friendly computer language) awhile back, and it has changed every single aspect of my approach for the better to such a degree it's hard to compare. What used to take me weeks I can now can do with a single click, while also completing other tasks. I don't have to worry about buying software and bots, or hiring developers ( in most cases) because I can simply make my own scripts and code my own projects.

You have an advantage so many people don't—you know exactly what you want to do.

My advice is to exploit every available option at your disposal to help you reach your goal. Getting a degree ( or at least studying long enough to get a deep understanding) in computer science, then working for a year or two in a professional environment would provide you with a tremendous advantage over the vast majority of online Marketers. During which time, you could have been spending your spare time making moves like aging domains, developing quality content for a money site, building up facebook followers, etc..—all of which take time—all the while having a salary to support yourself. Having a job isn't giving in if you're employed with the sole intent of financing your dreams. Paychecks pay for software, computers, advertising, and many other business expenses. When your investments begin to pay off, then you'll be able to make the decision to transition into IM full time, rather than leap—hoping to land on something soft.

Maybe i have to edit the intro a little bit. I'm actually studying some software development courses to keep myself floating (study loan). And I'm teaching math and picking dog poop also for some extra income. I totally hear you about the suggestions, and it really makes sense. Only thing is I feel like I've wasted all my adult life studying different things that never led me anywhere, so I kind of need to go balls deep on this one and just go for it .

We will see. I think i have some great ideas, and I'm looking at this with a long perspective, so time will tell - as my great great papabird used to say ;-)

Good on you. Too many years in a 9 - 5 job killed my creativity and zest for life... some of us just can't do 9-5, and that's a great thing. Plenty of people will be there to judge you, but they will soon change their minds after your success

Take your time to read and learn. Then decide one one method that works best for you. Seo, paid traffic, affiliate marketing, adsense. Whatever. You can make money with all these methods.
But the secret is to stick to one at a time.

Yep that's what motivates me too. Self-tricking is pretty underrated!

That's how i feel too. Most people are satisfied going to work, get some social interaction, watch some celeb stuff, eat and sleep. Never understood how. I guess some of us just can't .

Update

Been taking care of irl-boring-not-so-matrix-like-stuff the last couple of days. But my first look into the catacombs enticed me.

YT-channel got 4 vids up. 10 views hehe.

New BHW-knowlage:
Read about tags on YT. The basic trick is to take the tags of the most viewed vids in your niche and copy them. Make the description similar.

Thoughts:
Make these tags on future uploads and maybe merge some content to make it wider.

P-upload got 5 vids. 150 views. No convertions.

Thoughts:
Switched my domain name to .com from .club. Maybe this will work out better. Didn't expect much from 150 views, but I'd rather do it right in the first place. Not super-niched on this one but my instinct makes me lean towards more general stuff.

Domain selling is all set up on sedo.com. 750 unique traffic. No sales yet. 0.1 euro rev (Im getting rich, bitch!)

Thoughts:
Not sure about the prices yet but putting some on lower price to see if anything happens. Using the free searches daily on estibot.com and domainindex.com.

Next focus:

Not sure yet. Still lurking around BHW trying to find what suits best for my newbie limited adventure. I would really love some feedback here, if anyone would suggest anything to start with. There is a jungle of methods, and I'm not so sure about the P-upload method in the long run.

I'm leaning towards IG selling/CPA, Blog or affiliate link PPS website for products. I know i gotta get my ass working, but its hard when you can't decide on what :/

I actually read the first one (by Tommy) a long time ago, but it was the second time around that i took it to heart.

Well that led me to change my plans. And here is what it looks like:

Structure. Going to use a journal and write up everything i can.

Focus on one thing at the time. Not 5 project, 1 project (Im'a get 2 cuz i really need two things). Write down some deadlines and goals.

Think outside the box. Not only thinking in terms of BHW stories, but rather, how can i make my own methods and twists.

The grand Plan:

*Getting a youtube channel big. Not only to make money but also to promote my best friends music.

*Making the good ol' review blog, with all approaches to promo i can think of.

Let the ride begin!

Yep reading is always i must. My problem is getting to the doing part (much less the last couple of years tho).
