How many times have you spent countless hours browsing the Money Making section or the Journey sections looking for the next method that's going to rake in the big buck?

How many times have you started a project and quickly lost interest? Maybe it wasn't bring in profits fast enough, maybe you just were really bored.

How many times have you quit once project because you found another method that's surely gonna be the one that works?

To tell you the truth, I am guilty of all three. I can't tell you exactly how many methods I've tried, it's probably somewhere in the hundreds. People know me as someone that hustles, that person who is always doing something new, or like some people say "The Serial Entrepreneur".

My problem was that I would find all these methods and try them all out. Some wouldn't make me any money right off the bat so I would quit them. The ones that would make me money, I would either loose focus or try to start another method at the same time until eventually they both failed because I wasn't focused.

Go ahead, look at my old journeys and you'll see that I gave us very quickly or stopped posting.
I did end up completing my last journey, I just stopped posting because I wanted to focus on making money, not on showing off my profits.

After a lot of trial and error, I finally figured out what works for me and what's bound to work for a lot of you.

It's called.... FOCUS ON ONE GOD DAMN THING AT A TIME!

That's the short version, now let me explain more in-depth.....

    Step One:
Pick a method. ANY method can work, it's all about commitment + trail and error. Find one you think you can handle and pick it. Just one.

Buy a notebook and on the front you'll title your book the name of the method or something like "Youtube+CPA {date}"

Pick a date 2 weeks to 2 months away. You've picked one? Alright. On the first page of that note book write something along the lines of: "I will commit myself to this method until (insert date). If I don't reach the goals listed on Page 2 by that date, I will end work and move on to my next project." Write whatever motivating bullshit here. Make a pact with yourself. You can even have a friend witness it and they can hold you to it. Make a consequence for quitting early, like shaving your head or maybe you've had a few drinks while you're writing so you wager that you'll get an embarrassing tattoo if you quit early. The point is, do whatever you want.

As you could probably tell, the next step is to flip the page and write down some micro goals. These will depend on the method and how much your end goal is. If my end goal is to make $2000/month by December 1st and it's January first then I might write something like: "I'd like to make $100 with this method by Feb 1st." Your end goal here is to make it something achievable. It might also be worth adding something like "I want to spend x hours each day working on this method"

On the next page, write out a checklist or a plan of what you need to do and how you will reach your goal. This plan is dynamic so it will change because we all know, things never go according to plan.

    That's it for step one.

    Step Two:

Do whatever it is you picked and give it your all. You can still browse the forums but don't change your plan for anything. Sure you can make minor adjustments here and there but stick to the task at hand and don't listen to anyone that tells you your method is working.

People tell me all the time what I am doing isn't working anymore, well that sucks for them but when I am pulling in almost 6 figures from the same method in a year then you now it's bullshit.

The trick is to keep that notebook and keep track of everything you do. I am dead serious. When I started doing this, I was able to keep track of what changes I made that caused huge boosts in earnings. Once you see pattern, capture it and when you scale up it takes a lot less effort to replicate. I really cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you to keep a daily log. In my opinion this is the difference between making 4 figures and 6 figures. It's also the difference between taking 12 months to reach your goals and taking 3 months. The effects are CRAZY.

    Step Three:

Assuming you don't cheat yourself, because that's what you're currently doing and that's what you'll continue to do if you don't change, then you will either reach your goal or you wont. If you don't then you can honestly tell yourself you gave it your all and you have everything written down to prove it. Maybe you can read over your logs and dissect what went wrong, or not if you simply don't care. What will most likely happen is that you will succeed in your journey. After giving your project the attention it needs and deserves, you'll find that things start to click. You'll find that you've pretty much mastered what it is your doing and you wont have outside sources clouding your judgement.

From here, the last step is to figure out how you will keep running you working method or automate it because it's in our blood to want more and to grow. The difference between growing now and growing when you first started out is that by now you should have a solid base, you did all the hard work and you reached your goal. You know what works and what doesn't, so if you start to see your earnings go down, you can easily find a fix.

I hope you enjoyed the thread, and I hope you can understand it. I'm a college student here in the US but you would never be able to tell based on my writing ability. I like Finance so I'll stick to that and let my writers do my writing for me.

Sometimes you need to spend money to make money. So I just know if I spend money on something, I need to work hard as hell to at least get my investment back. I will tell you that you should never invest in a risk investment if you cant afford to lose the money. Play it safe, and the best way to do that right now is arbitrage.

Obviously go ahead and continue to read them, you just can't let them interfere with your plan. It's easy to say, hey look at this person making bank with this method, I am gonna try it too. What ends up happening is you quit one method, then when a new one is profitable you'll quit your new one to try another. It's much better to pick one and say, I am gonna do this until X. If it works, awesome....

Yeah, it's just a nickname I got in high school.

Create a plan and stick to it.

Yeah but look up freshprince pick up lines on youtube and you'll be laughing your ass off.

Yes, the same notebook. Many a times we use doc, excel or say sticky notes(digital) . But notebook is more efficient.

Can I ask you why do you feel the need to make click bait titles?

It sounds very beat around the bush cliche. Your post mimics exactly how a buzzfeed post would be written. In other words, the post is written with a focus on re-iterating concepts that are known as common sense to the majority of people who run their lives with a schedule, and lacks a lot of substance.

Do we really need more threads like these here? I ask myself that question, as it seems capitalizing random words in the middle of run-on sentences with ellipsis all over the place is the way to write here. Besides, repeating "How many times" 3 times at the beginning sounds like you are preaching to kids.
