2 chargebacks ????

Is this a scam or just a error in pp? I have been using pp and didn't face anything unusual till now. But I think you can consider this sort of situation unavoidable like bad debt in business. So you got to cut some % earlier on it.

Along a similar line, I purchased products on ebay via two separate sellers. After paying for them both of them had been suspended by Ebay. I waited to see if I would get my products or not. (These items were coming from China and sometimes takes a month). When no items arrived I filed a dispute to recover funds.

Paypal refunded my money in about ten days. About 60 days later the refunded my money AGAIN as a chargeback. I didn't file a CB with my CC. I tried to explain this to them but the idiots at Paypal insisted (have you ever tried to explain anything to their CS idiots?) that I take the money because I had files a dispute and I was owed it.

I tried several times to get the money returned but they refused. I gave up. I figure at some point they're going to come looking for that money. 8)

What a bunch of morons!

Anyway, this week I got ANOTHER refund on the same dispute.

Thanks Paypal!

Why bother selling stuff when I can sit back and collect money from Paypal's idiotcy???? :D

PayPal does not want to lose the money 2x, it is bad for their income if it happens.
If you can show PP that you already covered this they will fight the CC company, PP is big enough to do that.

The CC companies also know that they can not protect someone committing fraud.

The main thing is to remind paypal that you have already settled on this transaction. They will take care of the rest.

A guy bought my ebook for $47 on dp then did a chargeback 2 minutes later, and of course he won so he got the $47 back.

That was 2 weeks ago, now he is filing another chargeback for the same product ???? What the hell!!

So if he wins, he well get my ebook and an extra $47:yield:

Fuck pp and dp!!:yield::yield:
I am done selling on dp, I just can't deal with all these scammers.

I would also recommend posting the users nick / paypal email here
So i can ban his stupid ass.

Is this the one that the dude filed a chargeback after immediately purchasing and he said that it was a fraud purchase.

What happens when you have no money in ur paypal to get chargedback ?

I have never won one chargeback with Paypal. If it is a digital product you can pretty much kiss the money good bye. On the other hand, if the person does a dispute against you, you will win every time, because it is Paypals policy, that they do not protect buyers with digital products. Kind of goofy IMO.

When I charged back on a service with my bank they couldn't dispute it because it was done through Paypal.

The dispute was regarding the Gumtree poster which lacked every ounce of usability. I've since the day I started up the program never used it again.

is it possible to get around the digital product grey area by making the deal a downloadable product and a cardboard box shipped to them? You know some sort of basically worthless item to be shipped in addition to the downloadable product? Then you can show proof of shipping something, and it puts the sale into a different catagory.

I was thinking about doing that, but some one told me that you well get banned on dp for selling anything physical/none-digital products(Hence digital point).
