Recently acquired an extremely valuable expired domain in my niche that I'd like to replace my money site with. Hence, the entire money site will be migrated over to the expired domain soon. Of course, will be doing a little bit of rebranding eg. changing the logo to fit the domain name.

Now as quite a lot of SEO has already been done for my current money site, would like to seek your opinions on what is the best way to transfer the link juice to the expired domain. Here are several possibilities I can think of:
  1. Do a simple 301 redirect for all pages of the money site to the Homepage of the expired domain
  2. Turn the current money site into a PBN site. Link to the expired domain with my preferred anchor text.
  3. Put up a simple notice on the money site that "XXX has been rebranded as YYY. Click here to head on to YYY"
Please let me know what you guys think. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

301 redirect is what's gonna passe the most juice possible.

Yeah, page level 301 works the best iff done correctly. I wouldn't go with a PBN unless I have many sites that I need to rank. If its just your money site then go with 301.

From what I know, this particular expired domain already has several 301 redirects, maybe 2 or 3.

With this in mind, is it still safe to do another 301 redirect? Just wondering if it would appear kinda obvious to Google.

If the expired domains has redirects already then it gets more tricky and I would be more careful.

Just to check, what do you mean "page level 301"? For example if I have a page specifically about soccer in the current money site, I eventually do a 301 to that particular page in the expired domain?

If it already has 301 redirects pointing to it, redirecting old domain to new domain will result in massive link juice reduction. If u want to play it smart and safe use old domain as a pbn an link with ur keywords. The content on both domains must be unique with good onpage seo. Good luck.

Yeah. As you are planning to move your old site content to the expired domain. Upload content to the expired domain and then 301 from old site page to the same page on expired domain. Do check with others too because I'm not sure if you have to de-index your old site before moving the content or no.

If your money site is old you can't change it to the expired domain.Because money site has high value due to the older domain.u can add content in expired domain and link it to money site
