Interesting topic. May I ask whether it helps in ranking? Is it worth to gain wishlisted in only high competitive niche?
I have also an own Amazon paperback product, which needs higher visibility.

Thanks for the reply. It helps *indirectly*. Last year I had a book that was a #1 bestseller in Kindle for 2 months and when I backtracked on it, it had a ton of *organic* wish list adds. The adds are part of a longer term strategy to help keep your book 'stickied' after promotions run out. That means your book can be hovering in front page lists for a while, granted you're pushing quality content and not garbage. So yes, it is very valuable and it is also a method that is completely grey-hat.

I'm glad I opened up this door for others too. Just please remember to promote quality products! Pushing garbage not only hurts yourself, it hurts others and makes it that much harder for quality to get through Amazon without extreme connections!
