$500 a week on E T S Y but.... i got shut down

Alright so i could start this off with a lil sob story by saying im a full time student blah blah blah i need this income so i have time to do school work blah blah blah but im not gonna let my first post on here be lame like that.

Anyways, Ive been reselling various items on E**y for about a month or two now and ive got myself up to anywhere from $300-$500 a week as some of my stuff was ranking first on e**y when you searched for that item, but my account got suspended. Not sure if competition is fagging my items for sale or if customers arent happy with my products but all i know is that im suspended permanently. Im not familiar with ebay stealth accounts and have been told the method is similar to how you make one for E**y. I really need this extra source of income and have made about 5 other accounts with no luck. Ive changed users on my computer, changed cc, changed pictures on items for sale to my own pictures, and even used my girlfriends home address and cc. Now i know reselling isnt allowed on there but so many people seem to be doing it and its clearly working for them. Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

also I don't see why reselling would get your account banned. Where you doing some kind of scam? 500 a week sounds a little bit High for just reselling

If he had mentioned $5,000 then I would be suspicious... $500 is achievable with some work and he did it before getting his account banned.

Etsy is a pretty tight community, it's hard to get one over on them.

yep like he said its not really that hard. sales starting coming in within the first 7 days with the help of instagram and fb ads not to mention etsys organic traffic. all in all with the way i had everything priced out i had about $300-500 every week coming in. sometimes off of a single product that was trending and priced better than the "real" ones

You are making it obvious to them that you are reselling something you shouldn't. Think about what was that on your banned account so you don't repeat it.

Buy a package of 10 proxies and make 10 new accounts with various info. Never ever use those accounts with you real name, address and cc or any info you have already tried. Make sure the products you are reselling fit the category you are selling them in and appear genuinely handmade and so on. Make sure each account isn't selling more stuff than they could have reasonably made by hand in a reasonable time period.

That will work as well, just be a bit more expensive than the proxies. One VPN per account. Btw the user on your computer doesn't matter.

I'm sure many people know the girls from etsy's support here, valuable info Why would they care about the sob story? If you are abusing their platform and/or breaking their rules, they have no reason to care that it helps you because it's hurting them. Forget about the sob stories, it's just a bad look.

neither actually. my best selling item were lokai bracelets and before i bought them wholesale i bought the 'MyLokai' "official lokai bracelets" so i could compare and they're the exact same thing. it could be that but im not sure how they would know they are fake ones because i cant even tell the difference and i have the actual item. dont see how they could tell through a screen lol but who knows haha
