[Case Study] Can I Reach #1 Through TUMBLRS?

I'm really interested in this case study, keep us informed op.

interesting.

I've had over 20 accounts deleted that I made using tor which changes IP + clears cookies per account . So idk why.

What do you do for a backlink on oyur tumblr? you place an article or just tweet a related img and post link?

Go on Tor and try to go to google or any other major site. It'll hit you with an insta-captcha because it knows you are using a proxy. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Tumblr has similar technology. A lot of people use Tor to create accounts - i.e. you're not using a fresh IP when you make an account with Tor. Nobody would buy private proxies if all you had to do was refresh tor and use a catch all mail account ;)

If I knew it before :( Due to the accounts getting flagged my website was also flagged on tumblr system so I can't post any links to it anymore.

now I'm pretty much tied to either purchasing links or using GSA on my site.

i have this doing to a microniche webpage as well.
i have 31 expired tumblrs pointing there already all with majestic TF.
doing it step by step started 2 month ago adding a account every couple of days.

my KW is not so hard .... in KW revealer 20
there is only a very little movement seen up to now ..... from 15/16 to 11 in the last month.

adding still every couple of days one new expired tumblr.
I am back linking the tumblrs with GSA as well ...... not much only the so called high quality links to the tumblr and 2 more tiers boosting it.
in my opinion the links are not very good. 30 links from a PNW index page would have another impact.

really interested in your result.

URLs all sent to indexers. Awaiting results.

I did the "Site:URL" check for the older posts and didn't see most in Google.

How do you think is it gonna work for adult sites seo?

The keywords are sitting between spots 7-8 after indexing.

Sending cheap blog posts to them (bought on BHW) to see more movement!

Good question! Probably the same as I'm seeing - minimal movement until you juice them up. I may try this next.

Update-

NtpoTCm

not too much movement, unfortunately.

A month later:

Well guys, what can I tell you? looks like it didn't work out after all - maybe those Google changes made a week or two ago made it even worse.

It very hard right know to test any figures ,the new update for google wil make every url jump in the serps dont give up .

Your on Right track

Don't delete the links! I've seen this before collecting my own data. When I added links I lost rankings for different periods of time, then gained ranks. It's like a filter that tries to get you to freak out and delete unnatural links. It took months once to come back and rank higher in one case.

Just my theories anyway, but there is some evidence of this filter in Google's patents on the algorithm.

Keep checking back every few days.

Some of them bounced back up. May be an anchor text issue.
