[Issue] How to Reduce or Eliminate PayPal Fees?

Hello,

I'm facing a little problem with the PayPal's transaction fees. I want to send some money to a friend, but the fees are a little high in my country. %4.4 + $0.30.

How can I overcome this and send the money without paying or paying the smallest fee possible?

Sending money as a gift is not available for me.

A friend's and family (aka personal) payment has no fees but no buyer / seller protection. However, it is only available in some countries.

In your case, I'd suggest making a paypal account in another country (for example canada). Use a private proxy, and the fees are a lot lower (1.9%)

This is not a bad idea. I'll keep this option in mind. The only problem is verifying the other PayPal and then sending the payments.

Sending money – Personal payments:

It's free within the U.S. to send money to family and friends when you use only your PayPal balance or bank account, or a combination of their PayPal balance and bank account.

There is a fee to send money as a personal payment using a debit card or credit card. The fee in the U.S. is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of the amount you send. For example, if you send $100.00 USD by credit card, the fee would be $3.20 USD ($2.90 + $0.30). For personal payments, the sender can pay the fee or pass it on to the recipient. If the recipient doesn't want to pay the fee, they can choose not to accept the payment.

Receiving money – Personal payments:

It's free to receive money from friends or family in the U.S. when they send the money from the PayPal website using only their PayPal balance or their bank account, or a combination of their PayPal balance and bank account.

I am in Morocco. The fees are high as you can see, that's why I'm trying to find a solution to reduce them.

All of those will only eat more money lol. Bank transfer is not necessary, the money needs to remain virtual for some purchases.

Not true at all, they favor 1st world countries like US, UK, Canada, etc.

I'd even go as far to say that making PP accounts in US is annoying, as US laws ask for so many verifications

Why not use Bitcoin? Only .05 per transaction. Accepted worldwide.
It still surprises me that people want to use PayPal .

there are no charges for the account. they might charge you for transactions, currency conversion and withdrawal only.
